The Penguins just tweeted Niskanen has a lower-body injury, not broken nose. For a second there I thought he was in the process of being trade, when in the world did he get hurt?

homers like Edwards and Errey aren't the worst thing. Steigerwald has a nearly malicious bent to his commentary.

It certainly is. It is amazing how a powerplay with two superstars and the number one powerplay goalscorer from last year can be so abysmal. It is unbelievably sad.

Its not that the PP is 0/5. It is the absurd ineptness that kills me.
They are not even CLOSE to set up.

Best offensive Pens shift of the game from Malkin/Neal/Glass.

Man Geno is really pissed. Glad to see that at least. Need more emotion and life rather than going through the motions.

I'm sorry, the Ottawa team is worse than the Pittsburgh duo. Errey and Steigy are like drunk fans, the Ottawa guys just a bad propaganda machine, inventing crap the entire time.

edit: and not one mention of Niskanen being out

Agreed. They don't need skill. Just someone who consistently throw hits and is good defensively.
