This is a brilliant move for this year here is way
1) Proven winner will a cup
2) huge body to stay in front of the net on the power big old ass to park in the crease
3) proven pk. Guy that is a replacement for Prust
4) nasty old school work horse for the Stephan's and krieders to learn from

Great move. Glen

Arnott's lack of speed is concerning but it's obviously not going to be a huge problem, if he can't hack it he won't play

I'll gladly let someone pay me 1.6 million to not play in the NHL

This looks like a good move. Should be able to just plug 'n play, as they say.

1.6 is alot but the team needed a freaking depth F and Arnott still can help on the 3rd line and PP. I like it

He isn't good defensively. I'm hoping he plays wing to limit that end of the rink from his responsibilities.

Hoping the shortened season allows him to stay fresh all year.

I approve.

Why do people care about the amount he got paid? It's one season and he's a free agent once this year is finished.

He's a proven cup winner and a savvy veteran. He did post up 17-17 last season.

Good move

He's slower than Rupp. If he's getting 3rd line minutes we're in trouble. 4th line with PP time. Hopefully reduced minutes and a short season he'll have something left in the tank.

Very good signing. Alot of people will disagree but this is a very needed signing despite age.

I believe we are still about 1.7 mil under the cap after this signing, if we wanted to add another player at the deadline.

hes a right handed shot for the PP. even if hes just a 4th line wing due to his skating we need a right handed hard shot for the PP.
