I really like Georges but he could have been killed in that. There's a fine line between bravery and stupidity.

Prust is getting paid 2.5 a year, this is his job, to fight tough guys. Not pick fights with Fraser and others.

Man up bro, do your job

Blues fan here. Like Gorges' game.reminds me of a younger better Jackman.kudos for staying in there.not sure if it was disrespectful for McLaren to laugh at him like that or if it was noble for letting up.Gorges' can play my team anytime, however.

Agreed, got to respect a guy for sticking up against a much bigger guy.

full props to Georges. He could have been sent to the IR but he stood up for his club there and held in. That shows oodles of heart.

LOT of respect to Gorges for dropping them with a much bigger man. He knew he didn't stand a chance. McLaren could have killed him but didn't (Though laughing at him was pretty emasculating )

Wicked delicious feeling watching the Habs lose. Big props to Leafs for dominating the game and also nutting up when it became chippy. that being said I want to hear no more **** when Bruins do same to Leafs and I mean quality players versus quality players. Your mutts can come at Mcquaid, Thornton, Lucic if we have a big lead and mister sneaky Lefty Bergeron lol.

class...when you're hitting someone in the face with your fists. WOW. You want class? class is when you know you could break the guys jaw and dont. Stop whining.

McLaren is obviously trying to communicate, "Look...You know I could destroy you, I know I could destroy you...Just settle down and -- what the -- Hah, OK, you want a go a bit <pop, pop>...Enough, Josh? Have you had e -- Oh, for the..Haha <pop, pop>..." and on and on...

It was a sight more classy thing to do than Pacioretty twisting Grabo's neck from behind to Linda Blair porportions, or the slashing that was going on all game by Habs forwards, or Prust's garbage cheapshot on Grabo after Komarov ignored the collar grab...JG should definitely send McLaren a gift card to The Keg for not ragdolling/bombing him into hamburger.

Nothing but respect for Gorges though. Heart and soul kind of player.

Armstrong? Invisible, but in his mind, "kicking Toronto's ass" ?.

Prust? Kind of a mutt.

McLaren was clearly letting up, good for him to do so.

I don't like the laughing part, it just looks bad. He should have just tied him up IMO.

I love Gorges as a player and admire his toughness for a guy his size, but this situation just proved something I've long suspected, the guy's a certifiable kook.

Props to gorges for throwing down here but he sounded like a goof complaining in the post game. I found the laughing to be quite hilarious but I can't stand anything Montreal so thats probably why. That and knowing how butt hurt that made some of the Habs fans. That whole game was ****ing glorious

Good on Gorges, but watching him almost cry after the game during his interview was pathetic

Haha, yea that's pretty much exactly my assessment of it too. I have no problem at all with McLaren having a good time. Wasn't it him that got bloodied up pretty bad the previous game, but was still smiling? Maybe the guy just enjoys fighting! Good on him for not pummelling Gorges, and good on Gorges for trying anyways.

Lacking class? McLaren displayed the epitome of class during this fight. He could have easily sent Gorges to his doom had he wanted to, but he chose to be a gentleman and go easy on a player who he knew was majorly outgunned.
