It is a home game, otherwise I would expect Lundqvist to start.
We'll see. I'd be open to giving Kreider another shot. We have a limited time to regain our identity, and if memory serves the leafs have given us trouble in the past.

I think Marty goes, but stranger things have happened.
What I want:
Hagelin - Richards - Nash
Gaborik - Stepan - Callahan
Kreider - Boyle - Pyatt
Rupp - Halpern - Asham
What we'll see:
Gaborik - Richards - Nash
Pyatt - Stepan - Callahan
Rupp - Boyle - Hagelin
Asham - Halpern - Bickel
I'm all for overloading the top line WHEN NECESSARY. As in, down a goal late, or to **** with the opposition's defensive matchups, especially when the Rangers have last change on home ice. But the thing is, if that top line isn't going, then no line is going. The Rangers don't have the depth to survive those nights.
Let's get to ****ing 2-3 here boys.
LGR
Oh yeah, put Stralman on the power play already.

Start well.
There may be drops in level of play, there may be gaffes and mistakes, but please, please start the game decently.

I expect Biron to start, however, I have a feeling Hank will get the nod again because Torts doesn't want to risk another loss.
Ride Hank through the end of these first 7 games?

Then I'd rather have Biron

Not just for a W, but to get Hank going more.

After the game against Philly, this statement couldn't be more wrong. However, I suspect you were kidding.

We might get 3, but the Leafs offense is firing on all cylinders, so we'll allow 6.

The Leafs are a brutal hockey team. If we can't win this, there's a problem here.

being positive before games hasn't worked for me. So I'll make a change and predict a 1-4 loss.

Rangers- 1-3 - 2 points
Leafs- 2-2 - 4 points
You realize we aren't still playing last season, right? It's a clean slate. As of now, most of the league has a better team than the Rangers, the Leafs included.

We lost to the Isles last year.

but seriously, one man who can get this team going the way he has always gotten this team going is Martin Biron. We play better offensively in front of Marty and this team needs traction and hopefully we can get some here.

So help us God if we fall. They don't make bomb shelters fast enough.
