4 games. A bit early to jump off the Marleau bandwagon ain't it? Thornton had a pretty lousy slump when he came back from his suspension and I don't remember people crying this much.
He's sucked virtually all season. I don't care how many goals he has. Pavelski ain't doin' much better, but at least it looks like he's trying.
Thereís a lot of things wrong with this country, but one of the few things still right with it is that a man can steer clear of the organized ******** if he really wants to. Itís a goddamned luxury, and if I were you, Iíd take advantage of it while you can.
-- Dr. Hunter S. Thompson
If I had a nickel for every time this season that Marleau has received a pass in the neutral zone, skated a few feet into the opposing team's zone, and did a U-turn against the boards to wait for everyone else, I might be able to buy myself a private jet, complete with a pilot and a Playboy model flight attendant.
He has no confidence in his abilities right now. Marleau is struggling so much that he has forgotten about his blinding speed, and instead doesn't trust himself to drive to the net with the puck.
