I think he owes it to us for the turnover behind the net last year against Tampa.

As an outside observer (lightning fan), I agree with this.

It's much more important for the Flyers to beat the Rangers (divisional rival) than it is to beat the Lightning.

It's the 2nd game of a back to back too. Bryz could wind up having a great game but still get the loss if the rest of the team is tired from last night.

I do agree with this, but we all knew MFL would have start sooner or later. Leighton's stats have been good against TB, so it makes sense.

It's too early for Carle to be comfortable passing to a Flyers jersey.

MiFL has to start a few games, as nauseating as that thought is. The team needs to step up and allow 0 shots, that's all.

I'm pretty sure Leighton is good for 2 a game. So we have to at least score 3.

People on here are worse than 5 years olds, everything's always 100% white or 100% black.

Let Leighton a chance, he has already played good games for us. He's not that bad. In fact, he has played pretty well for us the 20ish last games of the 2010 season.

Bryz can't play em all! And if Leighton implodes Boosh is still around to be called up - better find out soon enough...

Or be 2-4 heading into a game at the rangers being essentially must win again.

Sadly I think Bryz gets ice time tonight. **** we need a win to get to .500. Might need to score 9 tonight.

Prove us wrong MFL.

Its not the fact I am not willing to give MFL a chance; its the fact

-we had a rough start out of the gate
-just had our best game thus far this season
-are playing a team that utilizes a system we notoriously have difficulty with
-are playing a team that has had a much better start than us

All better arguments than he played some good games 2 years ago. If this **** had to play, it should of been yesterday.

So.. Laughton is officially sent back? (Edit: nevermind, I'm blind... Not sure how I overlooked that big red marked thread about Laughton)

I'd laugh if Leighton managed to have a shutout tonight. Shutooooooooooooout!

If we win then everyone will say it was the right call but if we lose it will be bad call to start leighton..

If we win it will be the team played a outstanding game and overcame the disadvantage that our goalie gives us. There is no denying he is one of the 2 worst goalies in NHL. I have him ahead of Montoya.
