They haven't led in 80 minutes of regulation and have only been tied for short periods, there's some perspective for ya.
As of now, this is not a good team. How much longer are we going to have to wait?
Even the wins, they got smothered for the most part especially at even strength.
No matter how much talent is added year after year, the same EXACT problems exist.
I feel like i've felt this hopelessness after a Flames game before. Very frustrated.

Hall is pissing me off with his stupid deke that has never worked. Yeah, if it does it *might* look good on the highlight reel, but you're killing the play every other time it doesn't

Is the BoA dead? Well, with these two particular refs, I suppose a tame game shouldn't be surprising. Good comeback game by the refs. They beat us this time.

Also, I dare you to play the following drinking game the next time Mark Lee calls the Oilers. Take a shot every time he says "young turks."

Horcoff finally got demoted to where he should be. Him and Smyth are not cut out for the nhl anymore.

I think we need to keep reminding ourselves how young and inexperienced the key players of this club are.

We'll have games like tonight and the SJ game, and we'll have games like LA and the Canucks ones.

But wow, Petry, Smid, and Whitney were atrocius tonight.

On forward, Hall, Hopkins, and Gagner didn't show up.

The only guys who stood out to me as playing better than usual were Paajarvi and Nick Schultz.

Hall has been terrible this season. He can't dangle yet skates right at the defenders. He did that to Doughty and had so many turnovers because of it.

Yakupov-RNH-Eberle, Boss line

And seriously, why is Hemsky on the ice if he never tries to shoot. He would rather patiently wait for a chance to pass to an opposing player.

Reffing was terrible but so what?

I can't remember a game where I couldn't remember who was on the 3rd and 4th lines. They have been invisible for 4 games.

I can't remember a game where I don't think there was a single successful forecheck or cycle. In 60 minutes.

We need this team to play every game like if we win, we're in the playoffs.

This looked like a team of losers tonight. So used to 30th place.

The Oilers scored on the PP because of a blown call as well........

Taylor Hall was worse in this aspect tonight. Would have been better off giving Hordichuk more ice time. Brutal game by Hall.

Hey guys

Boy, you guys have some dangerous forwards especially when on the PP.

I was on the edge of seat when guys like Eberle were on the ice.

Eberle is your best player. What a beast.

Good game.

Justin Schultz quietly had a three point night and led the team in ice-time. There's some silver lining.

I love hallsy as much as the next oil fan but his play so far this season has been disappointing. And I don't even know if it can be attributed to his surgery. He tries the same lame toe drag like deke and it NEVER works. Also with quite a few no look passes right to the tape... of the other team. I am hoping he pulls himself around here because we really need him to play well, and not just for the last desperation minute of the game.

On the plus side though Paajarvi and Gagner, two players I was really not considering as part of our future anymore are looking awesome.

It was encouraging seeing the Oilers have a solid amount of shots on goal in their first 3 games. If they keep getting rubber on the net they'll score with the talent they have unless the opposing goalies stand on their heads.. which they can't do every game.

Tonight though it was back to the usual... getting outshot badly and then it's the same uphill battle they've had for the last half decade.

4 coaches can't change the mentality of this team.

Get new management. kevin lowe is running this clown show.
