Good thing Hordichuk was in the lineup against that super rough and tough Calgary flames team though, right?
Yep, if the choice is between 3 shifts of Hordichuk and Hartikainen, I take the latter every day of the week. Even if he had a fight on one of those shifts (instead of say, a bad penalty that led to a goal), is that really preferable to 14 minutes of Harti?
Hall cannot deke.
His skill is that he has a great shot and he can skate hard, that's about all.
Yet he constantly tries (and fails) to deke around defenders.
It's ridiculous, he really doesn't comprehend his own limitations.
Dubnyk kept us in the game.
Outshot 35-20 LOL.
There is so much skill on this team, but most of it goes to waste.
Lines need to be mixed up for sure as right now they are not working...
And Ryan Smyth is the most useless player on the team. He could never shoot or pass, but he can't even skate anymore. This guy is a good pk'er because things are moving slow, but he's useless otherwise.
where is the accountability. Same thing we hear every year.
There is too many flaws for this team to make the play-offs.
It's going to be tough to swallow this year.
I just think it's funny that we're all excited about this team because it's boasting more talent than any Oiler team since the 1980s, and we give management basically no credit for that. Meanwhile, after one bad game (where we lose by a single goal), suddenly it's all Lowe's fault.
Only thing worse than Mark Lee is this team's performance tonight. TRADE 'EM ALL, I SAY!!
Bottom 6 needs work.
Smyth looked washed up out there. Horcoff was alright, Belanger didn't impress.
Petrell is soft. Paajarvi was a non-factor. Eager is hurt. Jones is hurt. Hordichuk, forget about it. Hartikainen isn't ready to be that guy.
Belanger at least had some wheels to go with his faceoff ability. Horcoff and Smyth have nothing but the ability to slow down time. Barf worthy. I am jealous of Calgary getting Hudler and that other Cervenka, much better option that the two old men.
