"@lkorac10: Elliott in goal tonight, Langenbrunner in. Hitch hasn't decided who comes out...#stlblues"
I wonder who's not it?
Wouldn't surprise me if its Schwartz with Sobotka sliding up.
EDIT: Mike Liut had the same suggestion just above my post. Overall I'm happy with Schwartz' play, but he's still young and learning. Sitting a game every once in a while can be valuable for him.
This game is going to be a good illustration of the fact that the Blues are going to get every team's best effort this season. They're a measuring stick for other clubs, considered a top contender in the West....and they're going to have to work to earn all their points.
The inverse there is that teams are probably going to expect to lose games vs STL. Even listening to fans of Nashville and Dallas the last couple games, you could tell they expected St Louis to win those games. Minnesota fans on their thread sound the same way, any points vs St Louis are a nice bonus.

I was thinking Schwartz out as well but i have this fear that Hitch will put lang with Berglund and Stewart killing any chance that line has of having a good game.
so excited for this tilt. I wanna see how redden and petro fair against that heatley, koivu, and parise line. will be interesting to see if tarasenkos line is out against the granlund line. Kinda wish d'ags was in rather than langs but we'll see how it goes.
Excited to see Granlund play and usually Minnesota matchups are a snorefest but hopefully with the additions of Granlund and Parise and our additions to our team it can be a hard hitting high scoring chance game. Good luck to the Minny boys and especially the Blues.

For about the past 2 years Blues/Wild games have been just about what you described at the end there
No it wasn't him. It was like Wayne something....4th line scrub
EDIT: Warren Peters is the name I'm looking for.
Peters is no longer with us so you won't have to worry about him. AHL scrub who would've never been in the Wild line-up if we had the depth last year that we have this year. We actually have talented players down in Houston this year so replacing injuries should be easier.
Reaves has been showing a lot more skill this year. Even with Reaves sitting I'm confident that Chris Stewart can handle any opposing threats. There is a difference between the Stewart that is fighting for the sake of fighting and the Stewart that is determined to tear someone apart. There is a big difference..
