Kassian vs Schroeder

These two players are the young live of our line up (along with Tanev). Which one do you think is more important going forward? Which do you find more exciting?

Hopefully the 2009 draft treats us well

I'm a fan of Schroeder, but Kassian wins this easily. He was drafted higher for a reason and he's done nothing but exceed the expectations. I think Schroeder is going to surprise some people in terms of what he becomes but Kassian is still the more important player.

Depends on who stays after Mike Gillis unexpectedly trades one of them.

Kassian. Schroeder will put up more assists, but Kassian will score more goals and contribute much more physically.

I am going to say Kassian for a number of reasons
1. we have Henrik and Kesler as our #1 and #2 C. Schroeder i dont think is suited for 3rd line checking duties.
2. Kassian is a big body who can protect the Sedins and make us tougher.
3. Kassian suits this teams needs better.

I'd say Kassian is more entertaining all-around, but Schroeder is much more entertaining with the puck.

I love Schroeder, but it's Kassian easily

if you took into account draft position it would be closer, but still Kassian.

Schroeder's played just a couple games, and people are already calling Kassian better, here I was thinking draft position didn't matter much as to how good a player is.

?

Gaunce hasn't played a single game, I would call Kassian better. Proven>Unproven, Schroeder is good and has played well in a limited amount of time, but he is not near as good as Kassian right now

Yeah right now he's better cause he's been in the NHL longer, give Jordan a chance though before passing judgement, I am thinking more who will be better in the future, which is what the OP wants to know, not right now.

Schroeder's more exciting from an offensive standpoint.

I somewhat disagree that Kassian is better than Jordan right now, I think that Jordan has a more consistent game than Zack at this point, so to me he's better.

exactly, I'm not saying Schroeder won't be better, but it's Kassian ATM

not the best to use "consistent" with Jordan having such a small amount of NHL games
