David Bowie vs Radiohead

Which Artist is greater? (Based on a peak/career aggregate of greatness)

Again, as I'm a rookie user...could a mod please add a poll?

I don't know if continuing Radiohead vs. Everyone is really a good idea...

But I'll go with Radiohead in this one. I like Bowie, his heart/work ethic's definitely in the right place, but I don't love him as much as other people do. They're pretty neck and neck for me.

Low is a fantastic album. Don't love Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust or his others nearly as much.

I don't think it's a bad idea... I'm not exactly pulling out the Beatles card, yet

I think Hunky Dory and The Man Who Sold the World are my favorite Bowie albums, and think Bowie trumps Radiohead so hard, that its not even close

Let us see--Bowie invented so much and changed the rules so much and influenced so many.. what has radiohead done? I tink the younger people will not understand how much influence DB had over music for nearly 15 years and how he changed it and changed himself

Radiohead, but David Bowie is great, too.

There is so much distance between the two timewise it is hard to compare for me. I like them both.

This one goes to Bowie. His influence and greatness are overstated at times, but I can still place him ahead of Radiohead fairly easily.

It doesn't matter what they've done-- Whoever makes music that you find more satisfying/affecting is the only thing that matters, IMO.

Also, it's a little unfair to write off what impact/influence Radiohead will have when we really have no idea yet-- They're still so recent.

I know the Serious Moonlight tour was maybe not critically his best. But it was a fun show none the less.

Think that depends on who you talk to. The indie crowd holds David Bowie in pretty high esteem

Has to be Bowie, but that is no slight to Radiohead.
