Whats his upside and which team will draft him? I would like the oilers to draft him
Let me look in my crystal ball..... hmmm....Looks like Hurricanes, sorry.
I could see him maxing out as a number 2C. I expected more from him this year in terms of offensive production. He came over to Kingston and put up 30 points in 30 games... He's been well under a ppg and the season is half way finished. I guess I expected more this year. Maybe someone else will comment who has seen him more... I've only had a few viewings, and mostly stat picking.
I've been disappointed in his season thus far to say the least. I was a huge fan of his and was convinced that he'd a have monster year and move himself into a top 15 draft position. That hasn't happened this year.
Personally, I still think he has first line centre upside. He's very skilled, big, and thinks the game so well. He's shot is deadly, it's very accurate. He always scored a lot in tight and works hard in the crease. He's a sneaky good passer, too. You won't expect him to pass the puck and then he make a wicked saucer pass right on the tape. His main issues are consistency and that he tends not engage himself in the play. You can watch him one game and he'll show you how skilled he is and the next game he'll completely remove himself from the play and do nothing whatsoever. He's pretty good defensively too, but only when he wants. Consistency is huge issue for him. I'm a big fan, and I hope he puts it together.
Right now, I think he's a late first round pick/early second round pick. If he continues to the play the way that he has been for the majority of the season, the only place he's going is down. However, there's still a lot of time and he's been starting to play much better as of late.
I'd be very interested in hearing a Frontenacs fan's opinion on Kujawinski this year.
