Still looking to trade but if I feel that there's nothing good then I won't make the deal.

So lets fix that folks, let's talk trade!!

Alfie is going to stay unless someone really overpays. Did get 2 fair value offers, but i can't justify pulling the trigger unless it is an overpay for the sake of realism (esp if its to a rival)

Shopping LAtendresse+ for a good young NHLer, high end prospect or high pick. Gonchar same scenario, or i'd move him by himself for a decent piece.

Looking to get a 1st or Bishop, or a 2nd + prospect/player. Can talk other types of offers as well, just giving an idea of the ballpark.

Dauvagins, Benoit and Lundin available for cheap anyone needing depth.

Open to other discussions as well as long as they aren't ridiculous (eg. Zibinejad for a UFA...you people know who you are ). Would love to add another pick or two...maybe move prospects from positions of strength (LW, D, maybe C) for other needs

It's been a strange game and I have to go to work soon, so looks like I'm just going to stand pat and try to re-tool through free agency. Feel free to make any last minute offers on Liles, MacArthur(UFA), or Bozak(UFA) and hopefully I can get back to you in time.

Anaheim confirms. We wish Teemu and Saku the best of luck in St-Louis.

Another big announcement coming later as well.

Toni Lydman and Bryan Allen are still availble.

too many GM who are either inactive or barely online (or if they are, they rarely respond to PMs)

it kills the competition so to speak, so everyone makes underwhelming offers to everyone and not much happens.

get:
Brian Ferlin

get:
Brad Boyes
Lunomir Visnovsky

This was one of those low risk, high reward deals. These contracts expire, we have no interest in re-signing Boyes and Visnovaky but this will provide us with unprecedented depth going into the playoffs.

TRADE TO ANNOUNCE

To
Mike Green

To
Jason Pominville

While Pominville may not be a dynamic player, he is versatile, hustles and has great intangibles. Perfect for alongside Ovechkin and Backstrom.

I'm going to be off until after the deadline so no deals happened. If I led anyone on sorry. I just wasn't feeling the offers and I wasn't proactive enough. Maybe next game.

Was hoping to have one more move be done, might have something to announce tommorow but looks unlikely.

Andy McDonald (4.7) - David Backes (4.5) - T.J. Oshie (4.175)
David Perron (3.813) - Patrik Berglund (2.25) - Vladimir Tarasenko (1.75)
Alex Steen (3.363) - Saku Koivu (3.8) - Teemu Selanne (4.5)
Jamie Langenbrunner (1.5) - Vladimir Sobotka (1.3) - Chris Stewart (3)

Henrik Tallinder (3.375) - Alex Pietrangelo (3.167)
Mark Streit (4.1) - Roman Polak (2.75)
Barret Jackman (3.167) - Kevin Shattenkirk (1.3)

Jaroslav Halak (3.75)
Brian Elliott (1.8)

Scott Nichol (.7), Ryan Reaves (.6), Wade Redden (1)

Very happy with the team. Got lots of depht with great balance throughout the line up. Most likely the best and deepest defence core in the league with a goaltender capable of upgrading his level of play to elite and you have the top Stanley Cup contender right here.
