Are they only inviting guys who play Bantam/Midget in Canada which would explain why Sprong was allowed and Day ignored.

They take guys at prep schools in both Canada and USA. Example: Nathan Noel last season

It could very well be that they'll only invite players that have actually played minor hockey in Canada.
Noel, Sprong, etc. did, whereas Day hasn't with the exception of spring hockey.

Most underrated event on the hockey calendar, in my opinion. Amazing to see how Benson compares to McLeod, Mascherin, and the other GTHL studs. Just a damn shame we're being denied the opportunity to see Benson head-to-head versus Day.

Nonetheless, should be awesome. I went to last season's featuring the '97's, and the atmosphere and hockey was just great.

Yeah. It should be very interesting to see how some of Canada's best 15 year olds perform with and against each other. Great event for these kids.

They had it on-demand last year for about an hour and I managed to rip it before they took it down.
Hopefully they keep it up longer this year, as they've changed their site around a bit and it's more difficult save their videos now.
