5 games with 2 shots (IIRC), no goals and huge struggles is definitely a slump. Perhaps a minor slump, but a slump nonetheless, especially for a guy that was our go to center last year in terms of production. I'm pretty sure I heard a vast majority of the analysts describe it as such as well.

That being said, it's great that Desharnais came out of his...funk, and found his scoring touch. We need him to produce if we hope to have a sustainable win-filled record this year.

Slump...slump..slump...what a weird word. Slump...slu..ump...slllluuump.....

I think I may need more coffee.

Cole should be the trade chip. DD should be surrounded by Eller and Patchy. Cole is playing like he caught bourques syndrome from last year. cole should be a healthy scratch today if Patchy is back.

How surprising. Little jab towards Desh, and HERE COMES NATEY TO THE RESCUE. THE EAGLE HAS LANDED!!!!!!!!!!!! The President is here. President of the David Desharnais, Jaroslav Halak, Yannick Weber and Patrice Brisebois fanclubs. Heil Natey!

They wont trade Eller. The new regime seems to be keen on the younger players. look for Cole and Gionta to make there ways out by the end of next year to be replaced by Gallager and Eller to make the trasition to wing in place of Cole and Eventruly Galchenyuk switches places with Plecky

Uhm, I'll be fielding all Jan Bulis criticisms (however flawed they are). Thank you very much.

Bulis was my favourite when he was here. Incredible 3rd liner. Too bad his ego got the best of him.

Hagman dived, and the goalie was out of the paint.

Ya'll can't touch Bulis.

Hopefully they'll play all season together, so this stupid Desharnais vs Eller debate can stop!

You never know. If anaheim wants to trade Perry and he's willing to extend but ducks don't have the cash. Would you not easily put Eller in the package for him? It's hypothetical but fact remains these guys aren't really irreplaceable.

Eller + Desharnais for Perry

No more debate.

Yes, we expected at least a goal from him and it took one year

Good weekend for little Davey.

His passing still seems to be a bit off though.

What's funny is now that he's playing well it will be a "I'll see if he keeps this up" but when he plays bad "let's draw conclusions immediately!"

Maybe DD is a fairly decent player? Not a 1st liner but an asset for now.
