And this is coming from a guy with somewhere in the neighborhood of 40 hockey fights under his belt in years gone by, who has taken his fair share of them. Kassian isn't going to have a mark on him from that last punch, if that's the implication. Kassian reached up to grab his jersey, it wasn't there and he was off balance, while Clowe landed a glancing blow as a result.
If Kassian landed more punches than Clowe then Clowe landed one. Kassian landed one to the back of Clowe's helmet and a short right to his left cheek, end of Kassian's work. Kassian's "ballance issues" came from Clowe outweighing him and rag dolling him around. It wasn't a beatdown by any means but it also wasn't close.

Kassian landed a few, Clowe landed a few more, and buckled Kassian late, but a "tooling"? come on. Kassian was up swinging again. Who didn't know Clowe was a legit heavyweight? new to hockey? Kassian did a great job of hanging in there, especially for 21 years old. "tooled"? Ha. That was a "descision", for Clowe. Anything else is just over-exaggeration.

Definite win for Clowe. I called these two fighting before the game, but I thought Kass would have a better outing than that. Clowe held that jersey like a champ.

I'm impressed by Kassian's fortitude to go up against Clowe. Give Kassian a couple years of experience and he'll be a feared fighter/power forward in this league. Clowe with the win.

When did he say that?

Nice, one of my favorite forwards giving props to another one of my favorites.

Kassian is a better fighter than last year IMO. I think Kassian is going to get better and better over the next couple of years.
Clowe got beat by BJ Crombeen and Ryan Malone. Lucic would wreck him and annihilate Kassian.

Lucic has also lost some fights to people he could handle. Prust comes to mind.

Clowe doesn't get a lot of recognition due to him playing in the Pacific, but he's a solid fighter. He could definitely hold his own against Lucic, and maybe beat him.

Clowe gets the win and exits the game with a very impressive 35 penalty minutes.

Kassian got has butt whipped. But lets get real. Clowe is a big boy. And Kassian is too young yet . By time he is 25 I bet he could take Clowe.

He found out that they weren't having crab after the game. You don't deprive a Newfy of his crab.

No, I mean that Eager landed better shots than Clowe did when he fought Kassian. Kassian obviously won the Eager fight, and lost the Clowe fight. My point was that Clowe did not ****kick Kassian the way you would think he did by reading the OP.

In between periods...he pretty much knew Burrows wasn't going to fight him and Kass wanted to go.

Man, Kassian just needs to concede defeat and shave his head before it goes the full Getzlaf.

Burrows went back into pest mode and the rest of the team really got to him. He had a total freak out, worse than Perry on friday, and was swearing at the time keeper, two-handing the glass in the box, got a 10 minute misconduct and game misconduct on top of a ridiculous amount of other penalties over the game.

5 minor penalties for everything you could think of. on the final one went into the box and went *******. was hitting the glass with his stick and shouting profanities so he got 10 misconduct and a game misconduct.

10 + 10 + 5 + 2 + 2 + 2 + 2 + 2 = 35

Clowe never lost a fight to Crombeen. They were all either draws or in favor of Clowe.

I typically really like clowe, even though i am a nucks fan, he is a great fighter, highly underrated one to, in the 2010-2011 season i think he won every fight i seen him in, and he had alot.

You dominate parros like he did, and your a top fighter in my eyes.

Two Beauties throwing in this tilt. Clowe wins for sure but i'm impressed Kassian challenged him at the end of his shift. Clowe was using his man strength and controlling the fight

wrong. burrows had nothing to do with it - clowe was enraged over the 'interference' penalty that was probably the weakest call of the night. nice try though

edit: it was high sticking
