Now the question remains - was it a one off for Jericho or is he back for a little bit?

I enjoyed the PPV. This is what I expected so I'm actually not disappointed or angry.

Please be back. Punk/Jericho had the potential to be the best feud of the last decade until they messed it up last year. It's not too late to make amends.

Anyone notice the guys who were really long in the Rumble match, like Jericho and Sheamus, were absolutely soaked in sweat?

Del Rio/Show was absolutely awesome. Some great spots and the finish was great.

Team Hell No vs Rhodes Scholars was decent. Finish caught me off guard, as I expected RS to win.

Royal Rumble had the same effect on me as the Rock/Punk match. SOLID start but it fizzled out. Jericho absolutley stole the show. Crowd ate that up instantly. Goldust and Godfather also got some amazing pops. I loved Goldust coming out and going toe-to-toe with Cody. That was a great moment. But after Ziggler got eliminate... we were left with Sheamus, Cena and Ryback...

Rumble was really fun until the last 3 or so.

Del Rio/Big Show - ****
Hell No/Rhodes Scholars - *** 1/4
Rock/Punk - ***

ADR/Show was by far the MOTN excluding the Rumble which stands alone.

the PPV was decent but way too predictable, especially the RR match and the main event...everybody should have knew Cena-Rock II would be the WM main event

Jericho was in there for 30+mins, He'd have to be Mr.Freeze to not sweat buckets

Sheamus was in there for half of that...looked like he was going to melt.

So I'm guessing that Punk and Heyman bring up some evidence to point to the interference not being due to The Shield, therefore making the match restart something that should have never happened. I'm really hoping against hope we end up seeing a triple threat match at Mania instead of Rock/Cena II. Also hoping that if Punk isn't involved in the match that he doesn't end up getting fed to Taker at Mania. He deserves to be in a match where people actually think he might win.

Oh, and totally agree with everyone else on here. I'm okay with Punk losing the title tonight, but at least make him kick out of a finisher or two before you do it. Were they almost out of time or something?

As far as Cena winning, it's not unexpected. 2013, the year of The Boy Scout.

CM Punk had a pretty ****** title reign... How many matches did he legitimately win?

Well, the PPV went off at 10:48 or something like that and PPVs aren't allowed to go past 10:50 PM normally, so they were running close.

All those promos and video packages early in the show could have been cut out to include more false finishes. If there were more false finishes, I'd give it a ****1/4 - ****1/2, but it gets a ****. Still a great match.

The Rumble match itself was awesome. We all knew Cena would win and Ryback would enter at 30.

I marked the **** out at Jericho, though his new tattoos are ugly as hell. Him and Ziggler definitely stole the show.

But yeah, that finish was garbage, I have no problem with Rock being champion but that was terrible booking. Shame because it was an incredible match otherwise. The last 10 minutes killed it. The Shield should have stayed home tonight.

Pretty much every match up until his heel turn in July.

As a face, all of them. As a heel, none of them.

(I kind of just said that jokingly but I actually think it's true)

He did. I don't understand why WWE insists on having heels win cheaply. They are good wrestlers too.

It's Creative's Cookie Cutter booking. It also made the last half of Punk's reign look like crap.

Looks to me as though they're setting up for a "big reveal" tomorrow night where we find out that it was not, in fact, The Shield who attacked Rock.
