Brock Lesnar signs two year extension

http://www.pwinsider.com/ViewArticle.php?id=75009
Quote:
As we broke on Sunday in the PWInsider Elite section, WWE and Brock Lesnar have come to terms for a new two year deal. Lesnar will be locked in to the company through Wrestlemania 31.
Lesnar's current existing deal was set to expire at Wrestlemania 29
No surprise IMO, Lesnar has a great deal, works 2/3 major angles a year and gets a big paycheck, his presence sells PPV's

There's three potential big money match ups for WM30 and 31.

Lesnar/Taker, Lesnar/Rock and more of a long shot - Lesnar/Austin.

So, might as well add this to the list

Chris Jericho has signed a new short-term deal with WWE and is expected to be working with the company through Wrestlemania 29 according to a report by Mike Johnson. Jericho and WWE reportedly came to terms quietly a few weeks ago. In regards to his involvement in the Royal Rumble match, Jericho was was kept hidden until his entrance in a bus parked outside the arena. The company had reached out to Jericho to appear at the RAW 1,000th episode and that started talks going forward.

Which just means Jericho will be putting over everyone.

Good to see Lesnar staying on, it certainly leaves open some options.

Oh. My. ****ing. God. JERICHO!

Please do Jericho/Ziggler in a Ladder match at WrestleMania. The way Jericho left in the summer... Jericho/Ziggler have unfinished business.

If it's true what they say that WWE doesn't want to do Lesnar/Taker because of Taker's health and Lesnar's physical style in ring, Lesnar/Austin would be a nice treat if Austin decides to lace up the boots once more.

With Lesnar re-signing through WrestleMana 31, this better mean Lesnar goes over Triple H at WrestleMania 29 and we have that entire program done with. There's no reason for Triple H to go over with Lesnar sticking around for another two years. You need to keep a guy like Lesnar strong. He's a massive draw. You can't **** up your booking of him.

Apparently, WWE is trying to get Lesnar in programs with Punk and Orton as well, that'll be interesting.

Lesnar, Jericho, Taker (maybe), Rock all back for Wrestlemania this year? I smell records being broken this year, in terms of PPV buys.

Ugh, they better give us an actual good wrestling at Wrestlemania.

Jericho brings hope.

Lesnar, Rocky, and Taker bring absolutely no interest. They will be nice to see, but I want to see some quality. I need a Bret vs Owen type match on the card. Please, WWE.

Surprised Lesnar went to a 2 year extension. I figured if he signed any extension it would be for a year at a time. Oh well, good for us.

I'd make sure he gets at least 4 PPV appearances so he can make the big four. Wrestlemania, Summer Slam, Survivor Series, Royal Rumble. Maybe skip one of the big ones and make a surprise appearance at TLC, Extreme Rules, or Money in the Bank.

it will be interesting to see how they do it because they cant keep making him say I quit and then comes back then quits again then comes back

it's lazy writing, so it really sounds like exactly what they would do

I see that as more of a SummerSlam match, tbh. I have no doubt in my mind we see the program eventually too.

I'd assume Lesnar's contract is in the 5-7 million dollar range and probably the same, or slightly more, dates. Lucky guy just gets to sit in his farm in the middle of nowhere in Alberta and make the most money of anyone on the roster. :laugh.

How many appearances does he he have on his current deal left? like 10?

So is he pretty much going to be full time on Raw until WRestlemania?
