Randy Orton throws temper tantrum backstage; angry at Ziggler/Ryback positioning

Quote:
Randy Orton threw what was described as a “temper tantrum” backstage at WWE RAW regarding the crowd reactions from his bout with Sheamus on this week’s show. You could also clearly see by his facial expressions during the match that he wasn't happy. He’s also not happy about Ryback and Dolph Ziggler getting roles as prominent heels and is still pushing for a heel turn. The original plans called for him to turn on either The Big Show or Sheamus at WrestleMania 29 but that obviously didn't happen.

Orton's character is boring right now. It's up to him to make it work. He's really just going through the motions. He can whine about his heel character, but truthfully there is no difference.

Change it up, Randy. Then you won't be so boring.

Give Randy his damn heel turn. One of the best talents on the roster but gets saddled with the babyface spot that he doesn't suit at all.

He's 100x the talent Ryback is.

He needs to be a heel. But he's been pretty boring since he got his sleeves years back.

Now the fans will get buried like Kofi did.

Orton sucks but he's better than Ryback.

Can him. ASAP. Nothing worse than a loose cannon with attitude problems and a short fuse. Thanks for your work Randy...but no thanks.

I often times wonder what Kofi's career with the WWE would have been if Randy wasn't such a pompous ***hole? My disdain for him is more than the one I have for John Cena....

I really do wish that the WWE would just release him....better yet, just bury him like he did Kofi

Back in the days of Legacy, Randy had a match with Kofi that was supposed to end with Orton punting him in the head. Kofi refused to get punted and ended up eating an RKO instead. Orton threw a fit backstage about how Kofi sandbagged him on live TV.

Kofi, who was in the middle of a legitimate main event program, was buried for several months after.

I just find him colorless and boring his old man had 10 times the charisma that Randy has.

I usually end up turning the channel as soon as I hear his music.

Maybe they need to break his arm and put a permanent cast on it.

He's been boring ever since he debuted and Jericho reminded us of that when he returned in 2007.

Edit: Watching this video reminds me what a great talent Jericho was when he could be himself as opposed to the monotone heel he became.

He would better off if he went back to the cocky heel character he had when he was in Evolution. The Viper/crazy gimmick got old and boring pretty quickly.

I really miss the heel Randy. I don't blame him. A lot of people want this to happen. The guy is still a ****ing headcase though.

Good talent, but very boring and a big crybaby.

I still hate him for ending Christian's reign after 2-days. I have a strong feeling that wasn't just the bookers, either.

Randy Orton hasn't entertained me since 2008. Since coming back to watching wrestling in 2010, I've seen Punk and Sheamus pass him, and Ziggler and Ryback look to be on their way. Henry, while not booked like it right now, is a bigger draw as well and I find him more entertaining. Bryan can also really spark a crowd.

Orton went from #2 in 08 to wherever the hell he is now, and I honestly can't see a heel turn helping him much in that regard. He is better as a heel, but I can't see it helping much. Just my opinion.

Didn't help he's been suspended twice, has been accused of abuse, and has had these reports of being like this backstage. How can we blame WWE for not giving him a bigger push, or for listening to his desires to be heel when he clearly is unstable. Smart fans know about this and the other fans just don't care enough. Randy has brought this on himself, and it'll be awhile before WWE feels like they can listen to him and work with him more.

When hasn't he had attitude problems?

If not for his name, he would have been banished to TNA a long time ago.
