AP, I can never take you seriously with the way you mock the opposing teams in your GDT's.

I don't know what's sadder: the thread title or the previous one reaching 1000 posts without anything actually happening.

The lockout is going to suck without my GDT's.

Anyways, is it safe to say that the next deadline is when the new waive of council members step in?

P.S.

I didn't get much ideas for the thread title, so I'm open to suggestions.

Onwership Cluster**** Thread: He's got money, Yes he does. He's got money, how bout' you?

(In reference to Jamison having the money to buy the team, but Glendale needing to be able to pony up the $millions)

I like this thread title, even if there's a lockout, we may get to 1000 posts discussing alternative titles.

The thread title reminds me of an Australian actor named Yahoo Serious who was in some movie in the late 80s.

Like, you're not serious - you're Yahoo Serious.

or something.

... ya, or something. When I find myself in that kind of mood, I do one of two things;

1) Dust off a Gibson Custom Shop Guitar, plug it in to a bank of Marshalls & let er RIP, and I mean R.I.P.

2) Open a nice Cabernet at like 11AM with stock in reserve, take it easy on the World, listen to anything & everything from Buddy Guy to Joe Bonamass, Jethro Tull to Petula Clarke.

all you need to get through the day....

Not really sure how much of an impact the lockout still has an effect in Jamison's deal, but here is the newa for today regarding the lockout.

Quote:
ChrisBottaNHL: Told that, other than informal discussions, likely won't be serious NHL talks until next week. Essentially, lockout has begun. @SBJSBD

Real_ESPNLeBrun: NHL and NHLPA will touch base in [Saturday] morning. Whether or not they meet formally remains to be seen

Some mystery reason why it would bebeneficial in some way to close prior to a lock out. Grasping at straws.
