Of course!

I was happy to just get a measly little $0.99 McD's cheeseburger, and instead I got a 1/2 pound double-decker Bacon Burger with onion straws and a fried egg on top. With sweet potato fries.

Got home from work after the first period. Sens down 2-0.
Slipped on the ol Afie Heritage Jersey and 3 unanswered goals.

Your welcome.

Yea that's a legitimate penalty. You have to be careful on your follow through, that's why this one is called 100% of the time.

The Pens don't need to pay the refs. Bettman already told them to favour them.

60.1 High-sticking - A “high stick” is one which is carried above the height of the opponent’s shoulders. Players and goalkeepers must be in control and responsible for their stick. However, a player or goalkeeper is permitted accidental contact on an opponent if the act is committed as a normal windup or follow through of a shooting motion.

Gotta love fans who don't know NHL rules.

That said, it was a call that could've gone either way only because Ward sort of looked like he was guessing at where the puck was. It's not like he looked down, saw it and threw it behind the net. But it was a shooting motion. Call that was justified no matter if it was called or not.

Also, the Capitals last PK was pathetic so they got what they deserved, a loss. My God you give Sergei Gonchar who if anyone at all, Adam Oates should know not to give him space on the PP...you give him literally 30 feet of free space unmolested, don't be surprised if it ends up in the back of the net. Nothing worse than watching passive penalty kills, literally nothing.

Sens battled back and won, nothing spectacular. Karlsson's got some nasty skill.

I wouldn't call that a shooting motion, it was a wild attempt to clear the puck..

Andy won the game by shutting it out in the 3rd, while Karlsson was just being out of this world.

Green sucks too.
The Caps got ****ed over badly by the overreactions to their playoff losses and subsequent 'we need to convert every offensive star into a defensive player' mentality.

Actually though, out of all those players out there on our PP, I'd probably give Gonchar the most space if I had to give one of them space, just because Gonchar isn't as good as he used to be.

There's no way I'd give Karlsson or Alfie that amount of space.

Methot with another great performance on D. 3rd star behind Andy and Zibanejad IMO. It's so hard for the opposition to get around him.

I hope you are joking here... one is a wing and one is center. I honestly hope they both turn out as our scouts projected. Silf is more sneaky dangerous, where as Zib is more in your face, bull you over, score while he is laying on the ice in front of the net type of dangerous. Both are highly skilled players with room to grow.

There was no reason for Gonchar to have no player on the Capitals within 20 feet of him. Not much more to say. This is the kind of penalty killing that killed the 09-10 Capitals when it mattered.

Not joking.

Zib is 3 years younger. Zib was the 6th overall pick.

Definitely not crazy to claim he's better than Silf.

I got home from being out for dinner, put on my Alfie T from his 1000th game celebration, and the same thing happened.

The Heritage Jersey is a nice touch though! lol

I have to admit, didn't think Karlsson would get much better than last year. And he has, and it's not even about the scoring. He breaks up every play in sight and attacks almost comically.

Don't you find Karlsson RG3-esque? He's the quarterback of our team.

Very impressed with Zibanejad's game.

It was nice to see Condra have another solid game, too.
