Tarasenko could still stink the place out, who knows. There have been lots of players who have come into the league and looked amazing only to fade fast. Seguin has been there already, put the time in, come a long way in a short time. Going with the odds on this one and saying Tyler.

If they keep Seguin at wing I don't see what winger qualities he has that would let him surpass Tarasenko.

At center another story, if he can adapt to it well then yeah Seguin.

I said that Tarasenko in terms of talent was the best player in the 2010 draft. I stand by that still to this day and I believe at their peaks, Tarasenko will be a dynamo.

Seguin is underrated...unfortunately, I believe he will be the better player but here's to hoping I'm wrong.

So you think he is going back to the KHL?

Went with Tarasenko, who was the most talented prospect in the 2010 draft, but it's close. I would have voted even if it was a option.

How many of those players tore up a league like the KHL the way Vlad has before coming over?

I am not saying Vlad is going to be a PPG player this year although I would not be shocked if he was but Vlad is the same age and its not like he has spent the last 3 years tearing up the CHL or AHL...He has been putting up huge numbers in the defensive oriented KHL...I really think people are undervaluing putting up numbers in the KHL as a kid.

I say even...

I think this is spot on...If Seguin can adapt and be a number 1 center then that changes this to even to Seguin IMO.

This is a close one, but I just have a feeling Tarasenko is going to be slightly better. Both will be top ten players in their primes I believe.

I think Seguin will end up being the best player from the draft, so him.

I think it's very close to even just too early to tell.

I also think that 75% of the people voting haven't seen Tarasenko play even once.

Not going to vote because im obviously bias, but im going to just say I believed Kuznetov had the highest ceiling leading into the 2010 draft and I'm going to hold to that belief

IMO he is the 4th forward behind Hall, Seguin, and Vlad...That could change as I dont think there is a whole lot seperating the 4 of them.

I know there is one poster on here who would love hearing you say that as he never misses a chance to piss on Vlad in favor of Kuznetsov.

lol just remember we are talking about highest ceiling here and reaching that is whole another story.... I agree with 100% that all 4 of those forwards are pretty darn close, but I think Kuzentsov has the highest ceiling from all of them because the kid has franchise player written all over him (all of those have it but what separates Kuznetsov in my opinion is his maturity and clutch gene)

I personally think Seguin has the highest potential if he can reach it playing center.
I think that all 4 are going to be really close and looking back on this draft 5 years from now I think the 3 already in the NHL will be neck and neck and Kuznetsov should be right there assuming he comes over. Still hard to believe the Russian factor had both of them drop as far as they did although looking at it now Kuznetsov seems to be a legit concern.
