I just said the same thing. We had to mute it. He's absolutely yelling for no reason.

I think the Penguins biggest key to victory tonight will be scoring more goals than they allow.

A good idea? He's got more talent and hockey sense than anybody else the Pens might try there except for TK and we already saw how well that worked (not at all).

I'm actually rather surprised at the lack of love for Jeffrey as a prospect. He might lack Tangradi's size but he's dominated the AHL in a way Tangradi never did. He's got legit offensive ability.

he should have been given a more extended look so far in this young season. he has the chops to be a good 3rd/4th liner. let's see tonight if he shines.

Dan Bylsma must've been reading my evening rants, Jeffrey is finally getting a shot on the second line. I think he'd be a great potential fit. Can take faceoffs too, which is something many of Malkin's other LWers couldn't do.

What I don't get is why Jeffrey's been given a chance on the second yet Bennett hasn't.

DJ's shown a lot of offensive upside. Not sure why people are hating it. If he don't work out it's Bennett time IMO

Bennett is hurt, I thought? I'm sure BB will get a call up at some point this season if nobody else takes steps up.

Because Jeffrey is already here and is not a 20 (21?) year old rookie.

So, Bennett was given a try at camp and from what I can gather he impressed. Give him a chance to show what he can do on the big stage.

So, again, not saying Tangradi is the greatest or even that he needs to be on the 2nd line or anything like that, but how does this make sense? You demote him so that he starts doing the things you want, he does those things, and you rewards him by benching him? Please tell me this is how you handle young players.

Bennett needs more time in WBS and doesn't have to clear waivers.

Not mad about Jeffrey getting a shot. Hell why not? Thank god Glass isn't on there again. Maybe Jeffrey will mesh with Geno/Neal.

Disappointed to not see Tangradi in the lineup. Definitely played solid last game, shouldn't be the odd one out.

Also wish we would see Bortuzzo at some point instead of Lovejoy.

Jeffrey just got his chance. at least let him fail before you complain. based on how much he's played the last few years, his relative strength/conditioning and his waiver-status, BB should be the last in-house candidate that they try on that revolving door they call the second-line winger spot.

Someone else would've had to clear waivers? Or maybe they really wanted to keep Despres here.
