Emelin ?? No way in hell,. The guy hit everything that move and has been good so far.

It should be Kaberle or Weber who sits

Maybe this was explained earlier but can someone explain how the quoted terms of this contract comply with the 35% variance rule? It would seem that the second year is about 1MM too rich to meet the allowed variance.

Sweet deal, thankfully that's over. It shows that the Habs had the leverage and they used it. It's practically the only time a team can use leverage like this, when the player is a RFA. PK will get his money and term, he'll just have to prove himself for the next two years.

Someone said it applies for UFA years.

Play Subban and Markvov in different pk and pp units, and Habs will have either Markov or Subban on the ice for 50+mins a game

Send a message via ICQ to Rookie Chargers
With the way Markov has played I guess Subban figured he'll get in on the action. Then ask for $10mil in 2 years.

Maybe he should just fire his agent.

Oh wait, agents is an old boyz club and Meehan would destroy his reputation.

Pathetic holdout by Subban. All that talk and he ends up settling for under $3 million anyway.

Kid wants to play... Bergevin is pathetic for keeping that same offer for months now, great he won THIS TIME but PK is probably not the happiest Habs today... I wouldnt want to treat one of my best players like this.
