I'm most of the way through Spec Ops, and holy **** this game... I will say, it's really the first game I've played that made me feel the consequences of my actions really did matter, especially emotionally. Definitely a game that, at points, makes you feel like ****. It truly is the first real, and good, anti-war game.

new bemine bundle is up now, too ...

http://groupees.com/bma

minimum of $1 gets you:

Eschalon Book II
iBomber Defense Pacific
Livalink
Party of Sin
Major Mayhem

a $5 minimum also gets you:

Men of War: Assault Squad
Two Worlds 2
Edna & Harvey: Harvey's New Eyes
Planets Under Attack

and a mystery game.

---------------------------

you also get a few soundtracks, that i have no interest in so i didn't take the time to post em ...but you can easily seem em by clickin on the link.

pretty good deal tho.

pretty well everything has a Steam key, while the couple that don't are apparently on Steam Greenlight and you'll get a Steam key if they ever get approved through that.

It's a shame Party of Sin already dropped to that cheap. I backed it on Kickstarter! Still haven't played it outside of the beta at PAX East. It does look like fun though, kind of like Lost Vikings which is one of my favorite platformers of all time.

I've been getting lucky in SteamGifts but it's still games that I enter just because the odds are good and not necessarily because I really want to play them.

Won that Galactic Arms Race game, basically a 25 in 29 chance of winning... Won Dungeon Siege 3 the other day, 1 in 50 chance, and now just won Two Worlds II, 1 in 18 chance. Why can't I win one of those many entries I've had for Sleeping Dogs instead (or a similar game that I actually really want)?!

CANCER! CANCERRRR!!!!!

I guess it's not so bad since it's an indie dev and indie devs are usually the ones with the crazy ideas and all and it probably won't cost all that much and you could argue that it's similar to Kickstarter

But still...

Yeah there is stuff ill still buy no matter what like Blizzard, Bethesda, Creative Assembly and some MMO games. But stuff from studios that I don't have 100% confidence in, nope!

Half the time I pre-purchase because I'm terrible with money

Bought RE6

Given the price and pre-order bonuses i don't see why not, i'll give the game a fair shot regardless of what i heard

Capcom has been good in terms of PC ports being the definitive version so...

Here's hoping they fixed a lot of stuff the controls/mechanics/gameplay were horrendous at release.

Heh, the only games where jumping is a problem is games where the hit detection is ****. So most shooters

Heh, I remember people flipping out at you if you jumped while playing Battlefield 2. The hit registration was pretty iffy while jumping but they balanced it out by not allowing the person to jump to shoot. Whenever I did it, people would complain, then when they do it back to me in an effort to **** me off, I would wait patiently for them to stop jumping and light them up. Never considered it an exploit or anything though, you're supposed to move around like crazy to avoid getting hit. I'm not going to stand still so someone can kill me!

Well back in the heyday of America's Army 2, a lot of the better players would bunny hop around, let the guy waste their entire magazine and then kill them while they reloaded. So eventually jumping was nerfed badly and then in AA3 they completely removed jumping. So it's nice that they're bringing it back for AA4. I just hope that it's a sign that they're listening to their community to make the new game more similar to AA2.

Some big names on there.

Valve needs to **** or get off the pot. Half Life 3 is comically overdue, and they've got a seemingly endless number of pie in the sky projects they want to do. At some point you are in danger of resting on your laurels.
