1 goal was all we were getting. Shootout loss is the best we can hope for now.

Someone should tell Kovalev that this isn't practice.

Our break-ins to the offensive zone are just horrible. This team is tough to watch.

Didn't Allen Iverson just turn down a D-League contract?

That's what Kovalev should be busy pondering. Whether or not he wants to play in the AHL.

Strong first period even though they are down 2-1.

All in all not terrible. They're getting better each game. But they need to speed up the learning curve.

Good period. Weaver mistake aside.

Skating hard with purpose.

Lots of hockey left.

But Ellerby has to quit this tough guy ****. Really didn't need to fight Crombeen there. Like I said, let Dineen pick his spots getting back at Crombeen and take our PP.

If he is continue this tough guy stuff at least lose the visor so you don't get a extra penalty instigating. Relax Keaton, its a long game!

Stepped in for Jovo who would've gotten instigator and been off the ice. Wasnt a good trip, I'm proud of Keaton, tbh.

I guess Guds is going to spend some time in the AHL before he comes back.

Does anyone out there think that Weaver should be playing over Strachan? I would much rather have a big guy who can actually skate and has a shot than an out of shape five foot two with the slap shot of a 14 year old girl.

I highly doubt Dineen or any coach, for that matter, would have a problem with a player stepping in for his teammate.

If anything, we should try killing a penalty once in awhile...
