Too many giveaways, but not bad otherwise. Hopefully the 2nd is better.

No kidding. Best case scenario he misses the other winger breaking out from the zone. Likely scenario, it gets intercepted at the blue line and turns into a scoring chance. Which it did both times he did it.

Thought Tally was our best defenseman.

That mistake by Matteau basically signed his ticket to the minors.....though I think Stefan was going to be sent down anyway 'cause that's how Lou operates....

Whatever.

I also forgot how frightening it is when Moose tries to handle the Puck. It's like the one BAD thing about his overall game as a Goaltender.

Still, Moose kept the Devils in the game by not giving up anything in the 1st.

Devils HAVE TO play better and score some goals somehow in the 2nd if we are to have a chance at escaping Boston with at least another point.

Pretty much by default. Fayne was solid too.

My brother just let his wife switch off the game to watch "The Good Wife". Wow. Might as well just give her your balls too.

Oh well, this is why I bought Gamecenter

His competition isn't very stiff the way they are playing on the back end.

If he has no other TV and no Gamecenter then how big a fan can he be?

It's hard to say how Lou operates when we've never really seen a CHL rookie have a five game stint before.

I can't fault Matteau for Kovalchuk throwing bullets through the middle of the ice to an unsuspecting player. If he's ready, it's a different story. If not, a nice saucer pass is the way to go.

Doubt it considering he's on the 1st PP unit and they are probably not going to mess with it right now.

I thing he's going back also, but that decision certainly won't be based on one mistake. THAT is not how Lou operates.

Josefson-Anderson made for a speedy duo too. Hopefully Barch can actually contribute offensively with them in the zone and not look like a liability.

He is good at it when he wants to be. He isn't throwing the body around now. Luckily he does do it during the playoffs.
