Why thank you!

A lot of times I will read a thread and start to post a reply, then I will see someone has stated my opinion far better than I ever could.

Suspension? Jesus.

Have his face turned into a catcher's mitt by Lucic? Uh huh!

Thanks for putting the video up, I had no idea why Bergeron was so pissed.

I saw more of a tackle than I did a slew foot, but even if it was a slew foot, I don't think it would be Shanabann worthy.

Skinner gets by, until our next game.

I could see how Bergy would take exception and think it was intentional. but when you slow it down, doesn't look intentional at all. I really surprised 25% of posters think it wasn't just intentional, but suspension worthy.

Looks intentional and Bergeron with past concussion problems should be pissed. But not suspension worthy. Just a beat down.

Bergeron on Skinner incident last night: heat of the moment, part of the game, doesn't expect league to punish Skinner.

The only person that should be suspended is the NESN camera guy who seemed to miss the entire shoving match between Bergeron and Skinner.

I love that Seguin didnt celebrate his ENG. he went to help his teammate. That absolutely speaks volumes about this kid.
I liked that too. After the goal he noticed that Bergy was pissed and skated over.

I like how the B's players are so close...like brothers. It helps that most won the cup together.

reason seguin didn't celebrate an ENG is they should not count..... and he knows it

not worth a suspension, but Skinner is a little punk. Awesome offensive player, but I definitely prefer Seguin's humility/demeanor to Skinner's antics.

It wasn't a slew foot, but he placed his leg behind Bergeron's, then yanked himself and Bergeron backwards. What did he think was going to happen? It was absolutely intentional. No idea what he was trying to accomplish, haha's in the locker room? Haha's were on him, as his face was more red than a irritated baboon ass. Bergeron apparently fed him a nice beating.
Bergeron was shaking his head as if he was saying, "Don't pull that **** on me again, *****".

Someone will square Skinner next game out of respect for their teammate. Or, Chara will let Eric "aka the great gazoo" Staal know that he'll give him good reason to wear that monstrosity of a helmet he puts on his head every game. It wouldn't be so funny this morning if we woke up to find out Bergeron hit his head on the ice, and received a brand new concussion out of the deal, would it? That may have been on Bergeron's mind while he was caving in Skinner's stupid ****in face.

yeah that was terrible. But i have a sneaky suspicion that they are dependent on the Carolina feed because at home games NESN regularly cuts to the camera's behind the net which in this case would have caught the action perfectly. I'm guessing they didn't have those cameras back there.

What I don't want is for a Bruin to end up suspended for administering just retribution in the next game. In other words, take a number, deliver a check. Much like a couple of Chara's during the game. The guy will turtle to a potential beatdown, so that is a waste of effort.

Doing something as risky as what Skinner did with only seconds left is mighty chickenship. Even moreso to a player like Bergeron. If he did it to Marchand, I might feel differently, because I know Marchand does some edgy things himself.

If a vet on his own team doesn't tell him to quit that, that says it all about the Canes.

Looks similar to the Marchand slew foot on Niskanen last year. Marchand was fined $2500 so I expect the same for Skinner.

Carolina had a better feed that showed Skinner crying

As far as I know NESN doesn't lug cameras and cameramen all over North America to cover games. They use the home team's feed.

Had the outcome be reversed, Skinner/Staal woulda done their usual skate with their backs slammed up against the boards post goal routine, empty net or otherwise that has become so tiresome.

I never worry about this team watching out for one another, EVER
