WOW the Caps pure fundamentals are starting to come through this season, hard skating, good cycling, tough forechecking, shots on net, winning faceoffs. Joy to watch right now.

PP looks so much better when 52 is actually a threat to shoot every time. I hope Oates has instructed him as such...

Are the refs this stupid or on the take. Best period of the year for the caps so far this year.

Hendricks with the goal! 1/3 of the way to a Gordie Howe Hatty.

That was a bogus call and the reason Turris got called for diving, Even up/ fix a bad call.

Bogus or not, he has been rather Sasha like lately with the untimely penalites.

One of the Senators behind the net had a hilarious dive. Just full pull out his own legs and grabbed Erskines arms like he got thrown violently into the boards, and just held on to Erskine for a good 5 seconds.

The way Oates has the defensemen playing, GMGM needs to turn over half of it. Much more mobility needed.

Good period overall.

Backstrom.

Defensive interception and the quick transition pass. Hope to see more of that.

Ersk, Poti, and Hamrlik will all be UFAs along with HIllen, so there's your half.

Ovi, you are playing with 4th liners, of course they aren't wide open over there.
