My fantasy team loves Kronwall racking up the penalty minutes

I'm curious as how they judge takeaways cuz Dats clearly had one on Benn on the 5 on 3, but he wasn't credited with any. Also he was a beast on faceoffs that period, two key wins on the 5 on 3.

I think Kindl just is what is at this point. And if there's any untapped potential still he won't reach it with the Wings.

I can't stand the strict calls. This game has no flow.

Brunner is our best offensive force and had a couple decent scoring chances. We are playing solid defense which is keeping us in the game. Mule somehow didn't score on an open net although in his defense his back was to the net and he shot the puck from between his legs. No reason we cannot win this game unless we take a bunch of penalties. The Stars have gotten high quality scoring chances and will eventually bury them if we continue to skate short-handed.

He is as physical as I have ever seen him in the Detroit organization in these first two games. Unfortunate tripping penalty, but he would have never rocked Morrow like he did right before that.

The league always does this at the start of the season. They call everything, it's something every team should be aware of and plan accordingly.

When/if he reaches that potential Holland will trade a valuable asset to get him back

I kind of like what I am seeing by him tonight, hopefully he can continue to play better and with more umph.. Sure it's only been 1 period tonight. But I am hopeful he can do good.

The Penalty I felt was a bit weak on him, but meh that's how the NHL is deciding to call things now.

Cheers. Solid defence eh? Now that's a welcome change.

I've hated the amount of penalties called, not just Wings games. It's getting out of hand.

Yup four periods of hockey and time to right the guy off. Just watched his penalty again and right before the call he planted Morrow into the boards. It looked like Morrow stepped over kindl's stick and turned for the puck. It ended up tripping him.

I don't know. Plan all you want but calls like the one on Kronwall are simple hockey plays where two players get tied up. Not sure how you plan for that.

We'd benefit from the calls if only our guys would skate.
