You gonna throw a punch Barch? Thornton nearly got hugged to death.

Got to give Barch some credit. Has he ever won a fight against Thornton?

I give Barch credit, Thornton beats him up and he goes back for more.

Did seem like Barch was hanging on, but Thornton is much improved this year over last year. His stamina is incredible, and he is incredible at not only positioning himself to be able to throw, but also hamstringing his opponent to either minimize the odds of being hit, or eliminating it all together. He did get caught with one good one at the end under the right eye, but he really controlled that fight. He is such an asset to the B's. Love that guy.

Good thing Thornton is a pillow puncher because that fight would have been over in 5 seconds otherwise.

He doesn't have long arms, so his punches don't travel as fast to cover the same distance. He has plenty of power though when he connects and rarely gets smacked with a big shot. It is his form and make up that makes him less susceptible to taking the big punch, but it also limits his ability to make that same big punch. Some other guys in the league really throw bombs, but one miss and they are wide open. He is smarter than that.

As much as people hate on Edwards, I love the way he calls fights.
