Well tonight was another impressive outing from the boys. 2 days off and playing a bad Capitals team who played last night.

Honestly, they've played like boys, not like men. So many stupid ****ing mistakes, not helped by the refs though.

I wouldn't go that far it's 1 year of being bad for Flyers compared to decade of sucking for the Islanders. Loving the new found confidence within the islanders fanbase though.

Matt Read and Bryz are the only people on this team who actually care.

And Simmonds, and maybe Rinaldo.

Rest of them can go shove it

Maybe we'd win if we got some ****ing refereeing. Don't get me wrong, they're an appalling team but we have been arse ****ed by the referees to a major degree in two games this season. They should have been a defenseman down and facing a 5 min power play at a key time but they got **** all except the Flyers a man down.

Also, don't judge Giroux based on these games. This isn't Giroux. Something is wrong, badly wrong.

Girous is not, and never will be, better than John Tavares.

Just thought I'd throw in my .02. And yes, they are brutal to watch.
Well, that's just stupid.

I guess Vanek is the best player in the league then. Apparently, 6 games is all it takes to be declared better than X player

Giroux, Couturier, B. Schenn and Voracek look absolutely terrible.

I'm hoping that Giroux is injured for his sake and ours because there's no way he can be that bad of a player all of a sudden.

It's HF. John Scott could score a goal and people would think he was supreme offensive talent. Overreactions here are a way of life.

Give it until the end of February and we'll see. Wouldn't be surprised if Lavi is gone if this keeps up.

Hmmmm, you cannot change the team but could Laviolette be in trouble. Personally I think Holmgren should pay the price. I really do not like what he did with this team at all going into this year.

Lavy absolutely deserves to go now. We were manhandled in the play-offs and his ridiculously talented roster are currently the worst team in the league.

I'm thinking Giroux is more hurt than they're letting on. He's definitely not the same player from last season.

As for Luke Schenn, man was he ever in a bad spot on that Wolski breakaway. He is not very fleet of foot.

Y'all laughed at me when I said Giroux was overrated and wasn't going to match last season's pace. Who's laughing now? Penguins fans mostly I guess.

Giroux needs a winger and Jagr was the guy. Plus Hartnell is out now too.

He didn't have any options with the team. Free agency sucked because nobody was available and we don't have assets to trade that would fix something without seriously hurting another part of the team.

Three weeks ago if you claimed Patrick Kane was a better player you would have been laughed out of the room by the "WHAT HAVE YOU DONE FOR ME LAST YEAR" crowd. I expect if Giroux doesn't end up with a huge point total he will become supremely underrated.

Don't get me wrong he is a hell of a player, but what is around him?
