I never said that they weren't. I suppose that my point got lost in translation (and tipsiness). A lot of the Hitmen's offensive chances seem to be generated via individual efforts.

They were brutal! every time Calgary had the puck it was the most exciting thing and when Edmonton had the puck they almost went mono tone. I just turned the volume off, need to find their twitter accounts and blast them.

Wish I could make the game Friday, just can't make the 12hr drive lol hope the arena is full and we kick Calgary's ass!

Really weird injury for Reinhart. Skates can usually take a beating without getting cut.

Very, very excited for the game tonight. Haven't been able to make it out to one since the blowout game against Kootenay.

Yeah, was kinda lame how they won last year.

I think the idea is to have people show up, but it isn't exactly fair to a lot of other teams.

Who is hosting this year?

Saskatoon. And they didn't just get upset in the first round of the WHL playoffs... they got swept by the Tigers.

Well, when you already know you are going to the cup, you don't even have to try.

edit: What would happen if they had won the WHL championship?

Who would be team 4?

Looks like the Oil Kings might be looking at a crowd in excess of 10,000 tonight.

About time! I still do not get why they don't have more people coming to the game while the Oilers are selling out still.
I think Oil Kings will have a solid game lead by Foster and Moroz.

My thoughts exactly.

And based on the quality of tickets remaining when I purchased a pair yesterday (end upper bowl was the best available) 10 000 is certainly possible.

Should be a beauty of a game! Go Kings!

Honestly, the only reason I don't go to Oil Kings games is because I don't want to drive the 45 minutes to Rexall from St Albert.

Man, I hope that they're just keeping Cheek out for precautionary reasons. This team is getting decimated with injuries.

These Shaw commentators are insufferable. Ugh... what IS it about Calgary homers??
