A big hit really can change the game in a team's favor. Especially on a superstar.

Bouchard is on that PP for a reason. His passes are elite. Granted, that drop pass to Suter may not have been the obvious choice but maybe he felt that he's not going to score on Crawford from there. That's fine, and it wasn't a bad move at all since Crawford probably didn't expect it.

Btw, before I sadly have to leave.. This game should be 1-1. We played decent hockey. And played right with them.

Hopefully we can pull of this win.

I agree that granlund has been "soft" in previous games, but pointing out EVERY little lost puck ( and thereby criticizing him more than any other player on the team ) is in my opinion too harsh... If every lost puck would be as criticized for other wild players, the wild wouldn't have any d-players whatsoever...

Gilbert has been good on the pp so why not use him instead of bouchard or setoguchi? Just someone who is a righty.

Seriously, what's next? Are they going to add a "Hockey 101" link to their website?

I'm pretty sure Sydor runs the powerplay.

Exactly. The power play was always announced, but not in the obnoxious way they're doing now.

They have already replaced bouchard on the 5on4 with gilbert. They should do the same with 5on3. There is no need for that many passers. Koivu is enough.

If it wasn't for Crawford we'd be knotted up at 2.

Well, you're blaming Bouchard which is wrong.

Besides, they'll have a righty there once Spurgeon gets back. He can dish 'em with the best.

As an outside observer, I think you piled too much praise on Granlund before he ever played a game and created unreal expectations for a rookie. Enjoy watching him develop. He is still really young.

I think it's time to take Fergus out for a quick walk, and then to grab the wine from the fridge.

Passers isn't the problem, it's the 5 left-handed shots. Bouchard was hardly a threat and he was 10 feet away.

Its exactly the same. Roommate and I talked about it last season at how funny it is that they still do it. He goes to 15+ games a year.

That's exactly what i mean. Bouchard is very good passer but there's really no need for him there. Seto could have blast couple one-timers.

Oh yes because debates about the Wendy's girl vs. Flow are so relevant to the GDT.

Lighten up Francis.

My mom texted me saying that the tv crew mentioned Harding's MS after he got pulled...saying that they hoped it wasn't related? Any truth to this? I would hope those guys would have more sense than that. Are they gonna bring up and suspect MS whenever he has a bad game or gets pulled? It'd be disrespectful and dumb on their part.

Yep, they did that. I thought it was not only stupid, but very ignorant from them.

Harding has clearly stated that MS won't affect his play. For now, we should believe him.
