Talbot - Callahan

Just wanted to say that I thought it was classy of Talbot to see Callahan was injured and let go immediately and even show concern when he realized Callahan was injured.

Well yeah ...I mean he could have been a real clown and ripped off his other shoulder or put Callahan in a chicken wing. Anyway, that was unfortunate for Callahan. Great player even if he is a Ranger. Hope he is ok..that looked kind of nasty how out of place his shoulder was...

Clearly, this man is the definition of class.

I was waiting to hear the end result of that. Anyone know the exact injury yet? Did his arm come out the socket?

MRI later today/tomorrow; won't know anything official until the results come back.

Speculation is that there was a dislocation, especially after Talbot's post-game comments that he heard a pop.

And for the record in case anyone heads to the Ranger board and takes just a cursory glance at the thread on the subject, the vast majority of us realize that Talbot was not trying to hurt Callahan and did nothing surreptitious in the altercation. There is a very small handful who claim that he tried to wrench Cally's arm out, but what are you gonna do about a few jackasses with an internet connection?

It's cool I'm sure there would be some here saying the same thing if the roles were reversed. Hopefully he gets better soon.

Didn't seem premeditated to me ..I mean cut me a break. The only thing premeditated was Talbot trying to wrestle Callahan initially for leverage which sometimes includes pulling at the jersey in an attempt to tie him up. Kind of SOP (standard operating procedure). Callahan was in a prone position with the position of his arm and hence the dislocation.

Probably best news possible for #NYR on Ryan Callahan: Shoulder subluxation, out 10 days to 2 weeks.
Good news.

Talbot did nothing wrong, in fact, he was very classy to stop and call for help.

Of course he showed class. It is always nice though to see guys show control in such a chaotic situation.

Glad to hear it's not long term. I really, really like Callahan as a player (as almost everyone should, he does nothing wrong/dirty). My fantasy team will miss him for a couple weeks.

go to hear Callahan is going to be ok. 10-14 days is probably the best you could of asked for after Talbot heard a pop.
