How awesome would it be if we got 5 first round picks! Imagine all the great college superstars we could draft in the first round!
I would be happy with those returns. Bishop would automatically be our best bet in net, and unloading Cammy would provide a tremendous amount of cap-space!

Teams will be begging us to take their players for picks. Haha.

I doubt we get another 1st 2013 though... It would be awesome though!

Being that any team not in the playoffs can have a potential lottery pick, its no wonder teams that are lower in the standings refuse to part with their first. It will be tough to get another first. Columbus said they we're willing to move a first which is probably the Kings pick they are looking at. I would be on board to trading Cammalleri for their first. If not we can maybe get two 2nd round picks from a team which I believe is fair considering he has a 6M cap hit. Having 3 firsts and 2 seconds would be great in a supposedly deep draft like this one.

Kings trade Kozun and a conditional 4th round pick, which can become a 3rd based off playoff performance, for Tanguay.

Flames get a high ceiling player who has performed very well in the AHL, has ties to the city from his junior days, and is pretty much NHL ready. Just never been given an opportunity in LA for whatever reason. Kings get a top 6 forward. Sounds about right to me.

Terrible for the Flames. Keep Kozun.

Straight up for Pearson.

Not a chance.

Maybe if that was a conditional 1st (depending on playoff performance) and Kozun we talk.

Why the hell does LA need Tanguay, anyways?

He really doesn't fit in with the L.A. Model. Jersey, Columbus might be the two best places for tangs

I say Washington or Toronto personally, are the best fits for Tanguay.

You guys are going to hate me (more) but Van makes a ton of sense. They could really use a playmaker and if we took salary back he fits their win now mode.

Roy + Clowe, plus they're cap heavy. No room for Tangs

Pretty sure if we didn't retain cap with Bouwmeester, we're not doing it for Tanguay (especially to a division rival)

That said, I'd send Tanguay to Vancouver for a 1st (+ a bit more)

When did they get Clowe? With Kesler and Booth on IR they have plenty of cap room.

Apparently front runners at this point of time. They get him, no need to even think of Tanguay

True but at 1 point Boston was getting Iggy. Getting Clowe would be a Gillis move tho he is big slow and can't score

I wonder if LA is still interested in Tanguay. Also, I wonder if Stemps will get traded....

I dont think St. Louis was as interested in us retaining money. It Would have just meant they had to pay more in assets for the player. They are well under the cap for next year even now that they have bouw.
Vancouver would pay a hefty price but I think we would retain some salary for some better NCAA prospects in the trade... Just my two cents.

Yes they tried very hard to get us to hang onto 2 million, Feaster said it was a no go.

Oh didn't know that. And I'm kind of surprised. I guess it shouldn't surprise me the owners probley don't want to pay for a player who no longer plays for them.
Thanks for setting it straight instead of flaming lol.

It has been a long week I think we are all on the edge, I think generally we are a pretty easy going bunch here but this week has just been hell losing Iggy and Jbo for less than we thought and now it looks like Kipper is on his way out.

Kinda makes you wonder who we could have got (rattie?) if we would have agreed?
