I don't see anything saying "right now", so people mentioning Anderson are really grasping at straws. The guy has looked good, but in the only two seasons in which he has played a starter's workload he has been average-to-above-average. Props to his impressive start, though.
Anderson is better now, in fact there may only be one or two goalies his equal.
Ever heard of a hot streak? Also, Miller's been great so far this season and has a FAR more impressive resume than Anderson. Buffalo's defense is a hot mess/borderline train wreck. Without Miller, I'm almost certain Buffalo's goals against average would be the highest in the league.
Add Hiller, he's become the forgotten goalie when he was injured in 2011 and then played poorly for the first 3 months after coming back. But other than Oct-Dec 2011, the rest of his career he's been a good goalie. He's performed well in the regular season, in the playoffs, and for his country.
Not sure what you mean. Rinne has been Nashville's MVP thus far.
I've watched him a lot because I've got him on my fantasy team. His SV% is pretty bad and he's giving up a lot of bad rebounds. He also wasn't very good in the KHL this year. He's only your MVP because the rest of your team has sucked so badly...not because he's been any good.
