just have to get one with a good back. don't see anything wrong with that plan. might have to get some special skates for the guy.

Mclean will tell the boys you see nobody thinks we can make the playoffs without Spezza, time for you to prove them wrong.

GO SENS GO, I STILL BELIEVE

What is Regin's old form?

Don't worry guys. This was the only way Karlsson could win the Hart anyway.

Now all we have to do is find a way to get rid of Anderson.

Who cares if Spezza is out for a while.

We have a 100% winning percentage without him this season. Tell that goofy **** to stay home.

There you go, been so long you don't remember.

Bet you recall Foligno being a top six player though.

I lol at people who don't think Gonchar is vital to this team.

This hurts, but I think we'll be good. Turris will probably become an even better player and if we make the playoffs we'll have a lot of momentum going in and then we'll get Spezza back for help..

You know, I have faith that this team can find a way to make the playoffs without it's #1 center. What I don't have faith in is having Regin centering the 2nd line.

Murray, please pleeeeease get your head out of your asp and realize that Regin is not a top-6 player already.

Historically Murray has made quick moves after injuries. Maybe we should consider overpaying for Ryan O'Reilly. He can salvage one of the top two center positions and can be converted to wing the following year. While it may suck giving up a good young prospect (anyone but Zibby), atleast we would have someone who can stick with the organization

Remember when Todd White was our 1st line center? Or better yet Bonk? It's not ideal, but we will survive.

Regin is not even close to being at the level those two played at. Bad comparison.

Arvedsson Bonk Hossa was a sick line with chemistry, White had Alfie in his better days can't rememeber their left winger, McEachern maybe?

That was when our right wing depth was:
Alfie
Hossa
Havlat
Neil

It's pretty different nowadays.

Regin is not slated as our 1st line center though, is he?

I recall Regin having solid stints.. Nothing spectacular. Nobody knows what Regin is. He's just out there.

Yes, I recall Foligno having a 49 pt, top 6 fwd like season.

If we make the playoffs and Karlsson keeps playing like he is he should be a lock for the Hart.

There was a period of a few games when Regin was playing amazingly with Kovalev and Foligno.

yes. it was our best line for a while. (and kovalev was on it! that says a lot about how good the other 2 were)

Regin is in the lineup. Whether he is in the top 6 or not is Coach Macs call, not Murrays.

Indeed. Losing Karlsson would have been quite a bit worse than losing Spezza, but it still sucks.

With the way the 4th line is playing as the team's most consistent/performing line, you have either Latendresse (who needs to play consistently to find his form) or Regin to come out of the line to slot Da Costa in. They may give Regin at least a few more games to get himself into gear as he has also missed significant amount of hockey in the last few years.
