LMAO keep these coming please. I swear I saw one of Lehner here on this board but it was only a pic. Where was all of this from? Are these team profile pics?

K -- interesting that you are speaking about being grounded in reality. You have no idea what goes on in the dressing room...and Spezza has been an integral part of this team for almost a decade.

Far more healthy, maybe. Spezza carried this team last year and was a part of the reason that Karlsson won the Norris. Spezza was voted 6th overall in Hart voting last year.

Spezza is still our best player when he is healthy until Karlsson takes that title away from him. He hasn't yet.

Spoken like a true Spezza sycophant.

And yes he would get 4 pts against Tampa, Florida, and other bottom barrel teams, then against Boston and Pittsburgh and other important games he would have a very good chance of disappearing. Far from a carrying the team on his shoulders. Alfredsson was still more important than him overall.

Karlsson is obviously the best player on this team now. Spezza is obviously next in line for captaincy.

If alfie retires this year no doubt in my mind Chris Phillips will be the next captain, after that its going to be jason spezza for sure.

Team GP G A P
vs Boston 6 2 5 7
vs Pittsburgh 4 4 4 8
vs Tampa Bay 4 4 2 6
vs Florida 4 0 4 4

Seems pretty consistent to me. Heck, this is from last year when Florida and TB were both better.

At least Turris is used to being the #1 centre by now.

With how the season has gone, I choose not to be positive about injuries. It hurts less that way.

I was hoping I could reply before it was already posted, but Spezza consistently brings it against the best teams. In fact he ups his games when he is playing against the top competition. Nice try though. Just another Spezza hater to add to the pile. Are you sure you're even a Sens fan?

Anyway...Karlsson isn't "obviously" our best player...if he were he would have gotten voted for the Hart over Spezza (the guy who never gets ANY credit from the league). Watch a highlight reel of Karlsson's points last year...nearly all of them involved Spezza. Karlsson himself admitted that when Spezza is on the ice he just tries to get him the puck. We see Karlsson's impact more because he eats so many minutes as a defenceman.

Spezza is still probably the best, and most important player on this team.

My heart would break if Spezza doesn't come back, so I choose to believe he will! HE JUST HAS TOO!

Team1200 pregame show.....Sounds like Spezza is not progressing, is feeling back pain and not skating.

Doesn't look good ... have to wonder about the future if he can't solve this issue.

Well according to the Team1200 pregame show, he isn't even skating so I'm not optimistic.

So much for Spezza being back earlier than expected. Ian Mendes definitely jinxed it.
