That's positive news!

Right?

It sucks not knowing what's going on with him. Even if he's probably done for the season, I just want to BM say it and explain what happened during his rehab.

His back has always been a concern and it recent years it seems his workout habits have improved... But he never seemed like the kind of guy who took his training/body too serious...

Just an outsiders observation..

He talks a lot about his training. He used to focus on strength training, e.g., squats. After the playoff loss to the Pens, he changed his focus to more plyometrics. IIRC.

I think he'll come back in as startling a fashion as everyone else has. I kinda enjoy that tbh. NO news, no news, no news, HE'S BACK! Been that way all season.

He was in the official team photo taken today with skates on. He can't be THAT far off.

All that picture proves is that he can skate to a bench. Wonderful.

Well, he isn't laying in the front row on a stretcher so that qualifies as good news.

@SunGarrioch: Eugene Melnyk certainly suggested the Senators could have "all" their players back in playoffs. Hope hasn't been given up on Spezza. #Sens

Doesn't mean much coming from Euge but worth posting.

Sitting is harder on your back than standing.

...I guess his entire face being a blur gives you a good impression of what he's feeling/thinking.

This could possibly count as the biggest troll job in NHL history... perhaps even better than the kings last year.

He was actually terrible against Anaheim. Totally invisible. Alfredsson was basically the only guy skating out there.

Against NYR he was decent, but not as good as some people on this forum think.

Spezza and Michalek were the reason we didn't beat the Rangers. Spezza was awful.
