Ference won't get much of a raise if he wants to stay here. Tuukka probably gets 2-3m, especially with the way he's been playing. Horton won't get much of a raise either, he's injury prone. Nothing more than 1m.

Preferibly re-up Khudobin or sign another backup, make some small signings, and I think we're alright..

At worst, Horton will walk. There's no way more than one of our core players leaves.

All that has been factored in. There really isn't much money. Lucic's raise is kicking in as well. This discussion can continue in another thread later because I'd rather not sidetrack the GDT too much, but I think Chia has some really tough moves to make.

Happy MacD is in tonight. But even more happy Clode is sticking by Bourque, saying he's putting too much pressure on himself to score. Which is true. Gotta love the guy sticking by his player.

Seguin's 21st tonight? Might he make an appearance at the bars after the game?

Especially come playoff time.

That pairing is gonna relief Chara and Boychuk so much once the season really winds down and in the playoffs.

Ference and Mcquiad is not too shabby either, they have both been pretty bad but I think they'll turn it around and be a constant shutdown pairing like they usually are.

Nucks fan here..Booooo! Hisss!

Quick question. For the last few years it seems to many outsiders including myself that the Bruins have bullied the Sabres around. Lucic/Miller incident...etc

It seems to many that the Sabres have beefed up the roster because of the Bruins with the additions of Scott, Ott and a few others.

You think anything goes down tonight?

Apologies if this has already been discussed. I haven't had time to go through the thread.

Ott's face gets shattered by a huge open ice hit by Ference and Scott "tries" to throw down with Looch and gets KO'd.

Other than that, the Sabres will not live up to any hype like usual and get blown out in the actual game.

Oh yeah I forgot to add in that Seguin FINALLY does something tonight and scores 2 goals to start his season up finally.
