At least the PP looked good. One small step at a time.

I don't even think it was drawn, Horton didn't even budge. It was just a ****** call by the ref who thought he saw something he didn't.

remember when Savvy would look to set up a pass from the half wall, then whip a quick wrister and catch the goalie thinking pass?

The PP clearly was missing some Chris Bourque wizardry

I meant more the line was doing well with puck possession all around their zone.

I'm in complete agreement, but I think they're gonna whistle slashing the glove in the 1st period every time, then pretty much call the other team for a weak trip in the 3rd. Silly NHL.

I talk about that a ton; Bruins miss it and I don't think it's too far off to say is the reason why the PP sucks so much. He was becoming so good at it, he was beginning to create his own space into the circle and flick a nasty stankin' wrister top shelf where the peanut butter meets the bananas.

So judging by the posts, I'm guessing Thornton got messed up. Did he at least get in a couple of good ones?

That call on Leopold was so bad. And the ref had a great look at it too. Hope that isn't a sign of things to come tonight.

Credit to Thornton for taking on Scott. Is any other Sabre up to the task of fighting?
