Well the fact that teams only play within their conference this year will help colorado. We will be facing the Sharks, Hawks, Blues ect... all season long... so good timing for Seth I would say

I think we get to chose between Barkov, Drouin, Ristolainen and Maybe Mackinnon.

Yea I don't see us winning it either.

But to be honest I firmly believe any player in the top 12 or so of this draft will be to prospects and good NHL players. Whatever we do we should not be moving our first round pick this year, and if we do suck at the deadling, we need to move the likes of Jones/Kobasew/Stastny/Hejda for picks as high as we can. Stastny should be able to fetch a 1st + a Top 4 Dman, Hejda and Jones could fetch late 1sts from desparate teams.

BUT Hopefully, Sacco is fired soon enough and we turn this ship around before its too late. Its still relatively early in the year.

I think were still in the minority here, but I agree with this.

Would be much easier to handle tanking a shortened season then an 82 game season. And this draft has a tonne of talent.

McKinnon or Jones on this team(Jones particularly) would do wonders for this team.

Duchene Landeskog Sgarbossa EJ Jones Varly for the core. With surrounding pieces such as McGinn Siemens, Downie, Barrie, PAP.

I hate sacco, but if management is going to fire him I want them to do so after the season. The avs need that first pick more than 11th place in the west with a interim coach.
