These are all reasons for the Flames to choke, they only play well against teams that are flying, I fully expect them to lose this one and somehow manhandle Chicago.

If Flames somehow manage to lose this tonight unless it's flukey then they need to make a trade or something.

Face it, it's gonna be a boring game. Our only exciting player right now is Duchene and I wanted to see Baertschi but he's injured.

Doesn't matter, if your PP is running at 30% it'll run roughshod over our atrocious PK, and we're guaranteed to give you lots of opportunities to do so. So long as you guys can weather the 10 minutes or so where we actually try, this should be an easy win for you guys.

Good luck, you guys won't need it.

And the backup is in ****. We will lose 1-0 in a shoot out with 20 sots combined for both teams. That is we would under Sutter under Hartley who knows what will happen.

No reason for the Flames to lose this one. Well rested, pretty healthy, and home ice. We are playing a injury-riddled Aves team, that is playing back-to-back.

4 - 2 Flames!

Iginla will have a HUGE game!

Apparently all new lines today

Cammy - Backlund - Iginla
Glencross - Tanguay - Stempniak
Hudler - Stajan - Cervenka
4th line is a toss up

Jbo - Gio
Brodie - Widemen
Butler - Sarich

Looks like he wants Cammy to get going. Happy that Backlund is on the 1st line!

But Hartley hates Backlund and is only riding two lines of vets

This is my favorite lineup to date for the Flames this year, I think this has a real good chance to generate offence while not give up anything defensively. Psyched.

Yea Cammy looked decent last game I think Hartley is trying to get him going and Backlund has been great so far clearly trying to give the hot hand (Backlund) a chance with better linemates and trying to get Cammy going playing with Iggy.

The 4th line isn't necessary under Bobo

Good to see Backlund on the first line. Although I think Tanguay would be a better fit on the LW than Cammalleri. Maybe in a couple of weeks, if Cervenka becomes comfortable with the NHL pace, move him to centre and move Tanguay back to wing.

Cervenka really hadn't impressed me last game. He looked lost for a while. I hope he does better tonight. If there's a team to break out against, it's the Avs. The Flames have had their number since Quenneville left.

I actually have liked Tanguay at center he isn't bad at the faceoffs and looks like he knows where to be defensively plus being a playmaker at center it is abit easier.

I was impressed he hadn't played in months only practiced for 2 days in a new system and was making the jump from KHL to NHL, he didn't dominate but looked confident with the puck and made the same plays (dumping behind the net when he had no other options, going to the front of the net when Hudler had the puck, etc) He did look alittle lost for the first period but again with everything taken into account he did a pretty good job.

He was completely lost for his first few shifts but only got better as the game went on. By the third period he was looking dangerous.

Unless Landeskog is giving a speech on the level of King Theoden at the Battle of Pelennor Fields in the Avs dressing room, I think it's likely that the Flames win. They looked flat against the Nucks.

I like this. Given the situation for the Avs (injuries, travel, back to back etc), the Flames *Should* win. Irving would get a win and gain confidence.
