You're right... time heals all wounds (except Dan Snyder's).

Andy McDonald. Don't need a player as soft as him.

It was an accident, get over it. Snyder's parents forgave Heatley for the ACCIDENT, but a bunch of people on a message board will hate him forever. ****.

I guarantee he's a completely different person now than he was then. You have every right to not want him on your team, but your reasoning is just stupid.

Try something like, he regressed, he isn't the 50 goal scorer he once was, his contract is too expensive for what he brings. Let go of the stuff that happened TEN YEARS AGO.

I wouldn't want anyone not named Loui Eriksson or Jamie Benn.

I doubt anyone will get the joke

This. Any player you hate, you will learn to love them if they win games for your team.

Right, let's just forget it ever happened. Let's also forget how he used the vehicular homicide to rationalize a trade request out of Atlanta. Then he lost the benefit of the doubt after requesting a trade out of Ottawa for no reason, thus reaffirming that he's just a selfish person after all.

That's just a bonus. Good for him that he got the parents' forgiveness. I'm sure he now feels exonerated, and can live the rest of his life guilt-free.

This thread is a bad idea. You'd have to be highly cynical and immature to not want any star player on your team.

I've read on this board that Linus Omark is a star, but I'd prefer not to have him on my favorite team (Islanders). He'd be an absolutely perfect fit for the Leafs, though.

Lecavalier but mainly for contract reasons. Even players I "don't like" such as Dustin Brown I'd still happily welcome on the Stars. But then again I'm fairly starved for playoff action so that's probably the reason.

Crosby, and I'm certain about 85-90% of Flyers fans would agree with me.

Marian Gaborik, Brad Richards, Zach Parise, Taylor Hall, Dustin B and Sedins.

Love to have Toews, Eberle, or Tavares

Me thinks most of Philadelphia hates playing against him more than they hate him as a player. He's everything you could want in a superstar franchise guy.

If I could have any player in the league on the Canucks, it'd be Crosby. Ovechkin... not so much. Too much money, not enough commitment or consistency.

Probably Kessel. Of all the star forwards he is the most one dimensional. I would've probably also said Green back in the day.

Admitting that I could be considered one here, this thread is set up to become a troll fest.
i'm sure ranger fans have said this about gretzky, messier, jagr, lindros, bure, richards, gaborik, nash.....

based on history i'm quite certain ranger fans want every team's stars on their team.

You mean the guy who led the Eastern conference champs in playoff scoring with a herniated disc?

Ovy and Green... Huge diva's and team play seems to bring them down.

Lundqvist... He's gotten better but I hate how he stares at his team mates after goals.
