Yeah.

Considering his right hand still probably hurts when it rains.

Ruff had sharp teeth. Emphasis on had.

Not to mention, even back then, that bald head of his resembled a baboon ass.

Frustrating game but it doesn't feel as bad as Lindy and Sabres fans hoped it would.

Vanek had an incredible night but I think it is probably just robbing them of lottery balls.

I don't wanna piss you guys off so I'm just gonna say what I have to about that timeout and leave. I think Ruff saw what Julien put out on the ice and called the timeout so he could put Scott out there. Just so nothing would happen. If that wasn't the case, pretty classless by Ruff.

I'm super-mad about the way the game unfolded with the bad penalties, non-calls, a b**** move timeout, and overall bad Bruins play but Vanek owned the Bruins......again and Miller had some big saves throughout the game.

I'm a glass half full kind of guy so I'm going to give the Bruins a mulligan on this one. They got off to a great start this season and they are going to have a few stinkers. They'll bounce back on Saturday.

soooo disappointed tonight, the Bruins looked more like the Canucks than the Bruins tonight, beaten up and played soft the rest of the game, thinking a half-effort finesse game was going to work or something

what a sick game it was

Lucic playing too disciplined because it was a close game

Seguin was ridiculous, has been all year, superstar skills but KHL type effort when the going gets tough, had us excited for a big year when early reports said he had bulked up over the summer, but he is playing as soft as ever, maybe softer

feel sorry for Rask, Vanek standing in front of the net stickhandling back and forth was a sad way to cap the night off

Macdermid ineffective, can't blame him but he didn't look skilled enough to be effective physically which would have been his only value in a game that saw Shawn out early after getting beaten

Marchand, Bergeron and Paille showed great effort, probably the bright spot of the whole team, good energy, some mistakes, but Bergy hurt and still came back and played hard

Hamilton with great effort too, looked great on the pinches when we needed to gamble a bit to try to get a comeback goal

didn't like seeing John Scott shoving Seidenberg too and the Bruins had no team answer after that either, really sad game overall from a physical perspective
I'm pretty sure the only reason Ruff put Scott out in the last seconds was because the Bruins put Macdermid out.

I'm pretty sure that's what calling up MacDermid for tonight was all about.

Fourth line got scrambled because of Thornton going out early, but like it or not, they had the pieces in place tonight to play a physical game tonight, and it didn't happen.

Take it out on the Laffs.

we didn't necessarily need to fight Scott again, but there should have been some serious rough stuff going at guys like Myers and Stafford etc etc, make those guys feel angry at Scott for stirring up the Bruins and them having to answer for it after the game, as it was they are all smug right now and Ruff thinks he has the formula to play against the Bruins from now on too

I wouldn't care so much about the loss if we had seen a few other fights in the game the way the Sabres took liberties all night after the Scott fight

a big problem was the game was close the whole night and it seems like many of the tougher Bruins play a neutered game when it is close because they don't want to be seen as costing the team by getting called for something (like Lucic always seems to get called by the refs)

I hope I'm right too haha. The last thing this team needs is someone like Bergeron to miss time. Not taking the draws was probably just a precautionary thing.

Thornton was already out of the game. He's the Bruins' "enforcer."

I didn't catch who Julien put on the ice, but odds are they were out there for a regular shift.

Would have been nice to show the rest of the conference we can lock down a 3-1 lead especially with all that momentum.

Coming in peace. Boston will be fine. You guys sound like Buffalo fans before the game. I think Ruff called a timeout because he sawMacDermid on the ice and didn't like the matchup. Scott was put out to make sure nothing stupid happened.

Boston won't have anyone who could hang with Orr, especially McQuaid.

Stafford blatant elbow to the noggin of our prized rookie and no reaction from the B's? Yikes
I am not sure anyone actually saw it. I hope it gets reviewed but hopefully the B's will take care of him next game.

Not that hard to figure out. Ruff was rubbing our noses in it. Nothing more, nothing less.

I dont know about anyone else but when I see him go into the offensive zone leading a rush I just know it will amount to nothing. He usually tries to stick handle through the first defenseman but ends up turning it over 95 percent of the time. The other 5 percent he shoots from beyond the faceoff circle and nothing happens

Its just terrible decision making. He needs to learn from guys like Peverley and Krejci who are patient, take it deep, and wait for the rest of the linemates to arrive. He has been this way last year too. He just tried to do too much and it costs us quality chances.
Thank you for expressing exactly how I feel about Seguin.

The kid has NO hockey sense right now. NONE. Ironically enough he's got the same one-trick approach Kessel had when he was here.

Seguin tries to do way too much out there and it always ends up costing us possession of the puck. He either loses control of it, or gets broken up. He has got to learn to take it wide and look for a play. I can't believe he hasn't caught onto this yet...

Not really. Scott is a goon who doesn't score. Just ignore him and counter with our top sniper Lucic on their top sniper Vanek. Thats where the game is won. Let Lucic give him some tough love. What they gonna do, send Scott to retaliate or try to intimidate Lucic? It would be a win win situation in either case.
