I hope Lucic challenges Scott to make a statement to Scott for the Thorton beating. Do you think he is man enough to do this? I know Scott is no Komisarek but don't you think this would be appropriate?
These refs went out their way make game close or at very least made sure they put the chance for it to happen in place,No way on Gods green earth Seguin was not hooked to death on that break he had and then they have nerve to give Bruins 2 on one play more less.hahahahah NHL is really getting SAD!
Not sure what's confusing you dude. You said the Bruins look like a lottery team when they've been outplaying the Sabres in nearly every facet. Only reason this is close right now is two iffy calls to put them down 2 guys for a full 2 minutes.
It's pretty clear the Sabres don't even belong on the same ice in this game. But that doesn't mean an automatic loss for them obviously. Seeing that pretty clear heading into the 3rd period tied.
Two players from the same team get two penalties to be served at the same time. Like tonight, Lucic was called and then Chara. How do they decide who gets to come out?
If it was up to the Bruins, they'd want Chara to come out (like he did) to kill off the rest of the penalty. The Sabres on the other hand would want Lucic out of the box leaving Chara in there.
So what is the rule?
If two penalties come at the same stoppage, It's the captain's (or alternate captain's) choice who comes out first. I'm sure that since Chara is our best penalty killer, he was chosen to come out first.
Man enough? Seriously? Not only would it not be appropriate, but it would ****ing insane for a first line winger to fight Scott in the third period of a tie game where his team is already down a man.
Don't waste your time. Habs fans aren't very bright. They're still trying to figure out why BGL was on their top line. And why guys like White blew a game for them last night.

No, Scott is a trash AHL'er who is 6'8 and 270+ lbs. Lucic is a 60 point man who plays a tough game and is a premier player in the NHL.
Looks like the Ennis goal was in fact 5 on 5 and was 5 on 5 for 34 seconds. So, what on earth were we doing in the defensive zone on that sequence? What a debacle that was.

No, but I do question whether I'd ask such a silly question if my team was entering its third decade without a Cup.

Tired after the PK and just couldn't get it out. Sucks, but it happens. Ennis was wide open.

Chara in the box is never a good idea. Seriously questioning Zdeno as being man enough ?
Z tossed Shelley around like a rag doll last year.

Let me guess Lucic is a wimp and wouldn't fight BGL

Yea I did say the Bruins started playing like a lottery team after dominating. A lot of running around and 2 lazy bone headed penalties.

Reason: mod
The 3rd Buffalo goal was a 5-on-5 goal...the 2nd penalty expired about 1/2 a minute before.
And both of those were clearly penalties...anyone who doesn't think so needs to take off their Bruins-coloured glasses.
Listen pal.they never called the HOOK TO DEATH WHERE SEGUIN WAS GOIN IN ALL ALONE AND IS MONEY WHEN HE DOES<ROSE COLOR THAT! IM pissed off with this gabage reffing at NHL level nite after nite,Put prom dresses on them for fark sakes.
NHL Network saying Buffalo could be up 3-1 because of their two bad defensive plays that resulted in Boston goals...umm, couldn't we also say Boston should still be up 3-1??
I cannot STAND when officials on the other end of the ice make calls like that, when there's a guy standing there.
I personally think Chara was guilty of a hold, but the center ice official has no business calling that.
I can tell you from experience that sometimes the guy 3' away is blocked, or doesn't have an angle to see a penalty that's perfectly clear to the guy 50' away. As an official, I find it frustrating when my partner gets all territorial if I make an obvious call that the other guy felt should have been "his call to make".
