It's awesome that Kadri is producing at PPG level.

Numbers are way off. 100 is stiff, Kessel uses something like an 85 or lower. Phaneuf would use something like a 100

Chara for example used a 120 in the hardest shot comp and said he only used it in the comp because it's too stiff for a regular game

Not even the fastest on the Leafs.

No one said he was a bad scout. Just a bad manager.

Chara uses an extra stiff stick because it's so much longer than usual. The longer the stick, the more flex it has at the same stiffness rating. He's also beastly strong, but it has more to do with the physics of it.

We need Kesel back mostly. I just hope he wakes up soon.

Let's take a minute to embrace the realization that Kuli has more goals and assists than Kessel.

That is not a measure of the fastest first three strides, it's a measure of the fastest lap. Two straightaways and two left turns.

And as far as I know, Kulemin won that competition once. This actually tells us almost nothing.

Seems pretty obvious to me that Kessel has the fastest acceleration on the Leafs.

It's too bad he grossly miscalculated his goalie prospects. I think that trade alone really tarnished his legacy, rightfully so imo.

Did you miss the fight where Lucic had his nose broken and then hid behind the refs against Orr?

This is completely meaningless and not even what we were talking about. Guy said fastest first three strides.

About 20 seconds on google shows me that John Mitchell recorded a faster lap than Kulemin ever had. That tells you everything you need to know about that event. Don't put much stock in it.

He doesn't use extra stiff sticks though. He just used the extra stiff stick because it allowed him to shoot harder in the skills competition

He absolutely uses a stiffer stick on the powerplay, as do a lot of guys who play the point.

Feels like that was the last time we saw Kessel even score a goal.

That's because we don't win 2 games in a row very often haha
