In the entire league?

That's pretty impressive.

You will see a lot more loser points near and after the trade deadline where teams just don't care about winning in 50th-60th minutes of the game. They just want to secure the 1st point and think about the 2nd later.

2-0 Pens already.

Darcy Regier and Lindy Ruff might be closer friends than Burke and Wilson. Team looks like ****...and Lindy still wont be fired.

Cody Hodgson with his 7th.

The move east seems to have agreed with him.

Kunitz with 13 assists?

How? Sabres are behind us, pens are ahead of us. It keeps higher spots in reach. If pens win, their spot is even further out of reach. If sabres win, the leafs can still be ahead of them.

The goal really should be to keep the lower teams who are in the bottom AT the bottom. We don't want Buffalo creeping up and taking our spot (which they very well could). Pittsburgh is already a pretty sure lock for the playoffs.

True but the Leafs barely ever get that kind of luck. We just have to take care of our games and the rest will fall into place.

While ideally you want teams higher to keep winning and teams lower to keep losing, so that we are right where we are (i.e. playoff spot). However, if we have to start worrying about Sabres again, then we shouldn't be really in playoff contention.

What a save by Miller.

I think Neal flubbed that a little though.. If he shot that harder, it was definitely going to go over the glove.

Beauty save. Those passes by Malkin and then Crosby were even better.

Sabres had their chance to take the lead on that PP. Did everything but score.

Neal whiffed on that one-timer a bit but nice save non the less.

Thank you so much Pens!!!! 4-3 with 2 mins to go.

Buffalo could have crept back into the race if they won.

Pittsburgh scores. Nice shot too. Get traffic to the net and Miller has no clue what's going on. Surprise.

There was way too much traffic in front of Miller... no way he saw that puck.
