I didn't see the game, only caught the OT winner as I came home, but Edmonton is not for real. Take a look at Edmonton's PGT and that'll tell you everything you need to know about how "real" Edmonton is.

They need more depth players that can actually make a difference. What they have now, is not what's going to help them win, despite having Hall, Nuge, Yakupov, Eberle, Schultz.

So are you saying the Leafs PGT is a true reflection of the Leafs?

By real I don't mean they are going to win the Cup I mean their record isn't a mirage. They are playing well, winnning and losing rather than losing and losing some more.

They easily could have won yesterday's game, but Luongo made some great saves in the third.

Again, I watched the 3rd. and overtime and know the shots were close to 2-1 for the Canucks (a top end team).

Remember we are not looking at the Oilers playing the Flames or the 'Canes playing the Leafs here.

Some players are just like that.

Kaberle played great for us besides his last year or two and now he's just terrible.

I believe Boudreau is now using ryan as his center and using a 1-3-1 technique.

OMG I looked at the scoreboard: 5-1 Nashville over St.Louis...

Thought Weber probably got 2-3 points finally. The guy still has 0 points.

Flames about to pass the Caps in the standings, with 3 games in hand. Dang, I'd be pissed if the Caps landed Jones or Mack.

Sabres lose again - 3-6-1.

Why is Lindy Ruff still employed?

He's pretty right though. Pretty doubtful unless they go on a serious tear, which I doubt.

If anyone can go on tear, it's the Capitals. Remember 07-08 and their 6-14-1 start? When Boudreau was hired they went on such a run. Different team I know, but it's not impossible. They have too much talent to be where they are now.

Ovechkin needs his mojo back.

IS it even possible to trade him?

Damn CHI SJS game is getting crazy. 3 goals in less than a minute.

3-2 with 9min to go in hte 1st.

Despite his flaws (and contract), there would be GM's lining up outside Verizon Center to get him. Maybe a change of scenery would do him good?

I think he needs to be a rockstar. In Washington he isn't even the 2nd most hyped athlete in town.

RG3 and Strasburg are more hyped than he is now.

I think he needs to come to Canada. I think he needs to be mobbed for Autographs when he walks down the street.

Although EDM has the assets to make a deal. I don't know if the City is enough for him.

Vancouver, Toronto or Montreal, would be the places he would be a god of all Rockstars if he returned to 50g form.

NHL is a joke , nicest hit of the year results in a Blackhawks PP and the Hawks score. The league is getting ridiculous , almost to the point of not worth watching .

That was such a ******** call on the Sharks. The refs this season have been particularly soft.

Habs/Bruins game should be a good game. Montreal has been playing fantastic hockey as of late.

intense. we are at 5 loses, if we go on a 3 - 5 game losing streak we are out. We also can't do this win one and lose one combo either, gotta find consistency if we are to make it to the playoffs.

They've took advantage of their soft schedule to start the season. We didn't.

We should be 7-3 right now.

The only really tough team the Habs have beaten are the Devils.

Sabres suck this year, they got lucky in the 2nd Sens game.

Hopefully not a 3 point game. I'm hoping for many injuries, on both sides. Career threatening would be great but I'll settle for season ending.
